WHAT DID THE CLIENT WANT TO ACHIEVE?

The client wanted its Experience Centre to be a premier venue for showcasing its products, solutions, and brand values. The objective was to develop an immersive and interactive environment that leaves a lasting impression on visitors. The EC integrates advanced AV technologies to elevate the presentation of digital content. This space features state-of-the-art AV systems that enable dynamic and engaging displays, interactive touchpoints, and immersive multimedia experiences. By leveraging cutting-edge video walls, high-definition projection systems, and sophisticated soundscapes, the centre will transform traditional product demonstrations into captivating and memorable interactions. The design is an agile concept that allows for flexible adaptation of the space to various thematic and functional requirements. This will enable the Experience Centre to seamlessly accommodate different types of digital content and customer engagement scenarios, from interactive product showcases to live presentations and virtual reality experiences.


SCOPE OF WORK YOUR COMPANY WAS INVOLVED IN

1. Begin by thoroughly examining the consultant’s design documents and specifications. Utilize this information to develop a comprehensive project plan, this plan will guide the project’s execution, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
2. Procure the necessary AV equipment, ensuring each component aligns with the design specifications and fits within the budget constraints. Carefully manage the procurement process to secure timely delivery.
3. Integrate the various AV components into a cohesive system. Conduct thorough configuration and testing to ensure the system meets or exceeds performance expectations. Address any technical issues promptly, employing troubleshooting techniques to resolve problems and ensure smooth operation.
4. Conduct an exhaustive commissioning process to confirm the full functionality of the AV system. Meticulously prepare comprehensive documentation, encompassing as-built drawings, user manuals, and maintenance guidelines, for future reference. Present the fully operational system to the client, ensuring they receive thorough training to enable end-users to utilize and manage the system proficiently.
5. Provide continuous post-installation support, address technical issues, perform maintenance, and conduct necessary training.


WHAT KEY CHALLENGES WERE FACED?

During the project, we encountered significant challenges in two key areas. First, aligning the video wall proved difficult due to the wall’s lack of straightness, which required additional precision and adjustments to ensure a seamless and visually appealing display. This issue demanded meticulous planning and on-site corrections to achieve the desired alignment and overall aesthetic.

Second, the integration of the camera system presented a challenge because auto-tracking features were not included in the initial design phase. This oversight became apparent during implementation, as it necessitated retrofitting the camera system to incorporate auto-tracking capabilities. Addressing this required reevaluating the system’s design and functionality, ensuring that the camera could effectively support dynamic presentations and interactive features as intended.
Both challenges required proactive problem-solving and adaptability to ensure the successful completion of the project, ultimately leading to a refined and effective AV solution.


HOW WERE THOSE CHALLENGES RESOLVED?

To address the challenge with the video wall alignment, we instructed the team to install plywood on the wall. This modification created a stable and even surface, facilitating the precise mounting of the video wall. As a result, this proactive measure helped prevent any delays in the project handover, ensuring the installation proceeded smoothly and on schedule.

Regarding the auto-tracking camera system, the initial design did not anticipate this feature, which presented a challenge during implementation. To overcome this, we devised a workaround solution that integrated auto-tracking functionality into the existing setup. This solution involved adjusting the camera system to support dynamic tracking, allowing it to meet the project’s interactive and presentation requirements. By implementing this workaround, we were able to enhance the system’s capabilities and maintain the project’s momentum, ultimately delivering a fully functional and advanced AV solution.
