PROJECT OVERVIEW
This project entails the implementation of permanent dynamic and interactive lighting and various fountain elements at Saputara Lake, Gujarat. It includes decorative RGBW illumination around the entire lake periphery, two illuminated selfie points, pathway lighting, entrance gate lighting, circle lighting, Glowing Tunnel, a water clock, a water curtain, and an illuminated backlit “ILOVESAPUTARA” sign, along with a hi-fi sound system. The project aims to enhance the aesthetic and interactive elements of Saputara Lake, making it a prominent attraction for tourists and locals. The project was commissioned during the rainy season and completed successfully on 31.10.2023 despite challenging weather conditions.
WHAT DID THE CLIENT WANT TO ACHIEVE?
The client sought to transform Saputara Lake into a visually stunning and interactive attraction that would draw more tourists and improve the overall experience for visitors. The goal was to create a lively, engaging environment with dynamic lighting and fountain elements that enhance the natural beauty of the lake and provide a memorable experience for everyone.
SCOPE OF WORK YOUR COMPANY WAS INVOLVED IN
Our company was tasked with the complete design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of the dynamic and interactive lighting and fountain elements. This included the 625 Nos. of RGBW Lighting Fixtures for Dynamic illumination of the entire lake periphery of 3 Km, two illuminated selfie points, pathway lighting, entrance gate lighting, circle lighting, Glowing Tunnel, a water clock, a water curtain, and an illuminated backlit “ILOVESAPUTARA” sign. Additionally, we integrated a HI-FI sound system and we are responsible for the operation and maintenance of the installations for seven years.
WHAT KEY CHALLENGES WERE FACED?
The primary challenge was executing the project during the rainy season in Saputara, which is known for its heavy rainfall and foggy conditions. These weather conditions made it difficult to carry out installations and ensure the safety and integrity of the equipment. Coordination and timing were crucial to manage the adverse weather while maintaining project timelines. Another challenge was installing DMX Controlling system for 625 Nos. of RGBW Lighting Fixtures for Dynamic illumination of the entire lake periphery of 3 Km and with integration of HIFI Sound system.
HOW WERE THOSE CHALLENGES RESOLVED?
To overcome the primary challenge of executing the project during the rainy season in Saputara, we adopted a flexible work schedule that allowed us to take advantage of favourable weather windows. Temporary shelters and waterproof covers were used to protect equipment and installation areas, ensuring safety and integrity despite the heavy rainfall and foggy conditions. For the installation of the DMX controlling system for 625 RGBW lighting fixtures along the 3 km lake periphery, we secured high-quality, weather-resistant fixtures and components. Advanced testing and calibration techniques were employed to synchronize the dynamic illumination with the Hi-Fi sound system, ensuring seamless operation and maintaining project timelines through meticulous planning and coordination.

Our work has significantly enhanced the appeal and functionality of Saputara Lake, making it a key attraction in the region. The dynamic lighting and interactive fountain elements have transformed the area into a vibrant and engaging space, attracting more visitors and boosting local tourism. The successful completion of the project within the challenging conditions has demonstrated our capability and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
WHAT ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF ABOUT THE PROJECT?
We are most proud of installing the water clock and water curtain, uniquely formed by multiple nozzles, for the first time in a public space in India. We also take great pride in our team’s ability to overcome the challenging weather conditions and deliver a project that exceeds the client’s expectations. The transformation of Saputara Lake into a visually captivating and interactive destination stands as a testament to our team’s dedication, expertise, and innovative approach.
