BUDGET: Between 5 crore INR and 10.99 crore INR (USD672,000 to USD1.35 million)

PROJECT OVERVIEW

To create an engaging and informative Sound and Light Show with Projection Mapping, focusing on India’s space achievements, which were spearheaded by the Honorable Prime Ministers of India, who laid the foundation of India’s Space Program.

WHAT DID THE CLIENT WANT TO ACHIEVE?

The objectives were to combine technology and a creative approach to create a story that would hold the viewers’ interest and become a talking point for Delhi and the rest of India. To create a Wow factor that would make this show stand out amongst all others, we used the best state-of-the-art technology to make this show come alive. All these objectives were fully met.

SCOPE OF WORK YOUR COMPANY WAS INVOLVED IN

Conceptualizing, Designing, Implementing,
Operating and maintaining a Light and
Sound Show with 3D mapping on the
facade of the “Museum on Prime Ministers” building.

WHAT KEY CHALLENGES WERE FACED?

Firstly, the facade featured eight different colours: the stairs, multicolour fins, centre portion, and top chakra, which was a challenge for seamless mapping. Secondly, the transparent glass posed a challenge for projections. The Prime Minister’s Museum presented a unique challenge. Unlike typical outdoor light and sound shows, this location had a large void between the monument and the audience. Sound projected from the monument could reflect off the void walls, causing interference.

HOW WERE THOSE CHALLENGES RESOLVED?

We installed a roll-up projection screen used for two shows daily to solve the projection issue on transparent glass. To solve the sound problem, the audio was upgraded with high-end speakers and support systems, and additional lights were added to ensure the show looked and sounded exceptional. We used high-directivity loudspeakers with long-throw capability. The dynamic show content required a powerful centre channel with PD595-WRX loudspeakers placed at ground level to avoid obstructions. AW595 loudspeakers with progressive transition waveguides were mounted on poles for the left and right channels to enhance throw distance. Four dual 15” subwoofers were strategically placed to align with the LCR channels, and surround loudspeakers were installed for an immersive experience.

All loudspeakers, designed to withstand extreme weather, were powered by Crown DriveCore® Install Series Network amplifiers. These amplifiers feature advanced protection circuits, continuous load monitoring, and DSP features for optimal performance and reliability.

HOW HAS YOUR WORK HELPED THE CLIENT?

Our project has become the centrepiece of the Prime Minister’s museum, showcasing the grandeur and legacy of the Prime Ministers who have shaped our nation. The voices of Mr. Amitabh Bachchan and Mr. Kabir Bedi have significantly enhanced the exhibit’s appeal, drawing in larger audiences and sparking greater curiosity and pride among visitors. Their contributions have led to full houses for the two shows played every evening, making our exhibit a standout attraction.

WHAT ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF ABOUT THE PROJECT?

As a Prime Minister’s museum, the pride factor is exceptionally high.

We seamlessly integrated live shoots, 3D mapping, videos, stills, and graphics to create an immersive experience. One of our main anchors is a young girl named Navya, highlighting women’s empowerment, a highly relevant and respected topic today.

We went beyond the original scope of work, adding value by upgrading the audio system and incorporating additional lighting.

The Hindi and English versions of the show are voiced by industry legends Amitabh Bachchan and Kabir Bedi, respectively.
