PROJECT OVERVIEW
Following the successful collaboration with Maersk on their Mumbai facility, SISPL was recognized for its exceptional design and execution expertise and outstanding service support. This led to an invitation from Maersk to partner on their new “Delhi Gateway” project in Gurgaon. The SISPL team was tasked with designing and implementing advanced AV solutions for the new office.
Initially brought on as consultants, SISPL was responsible for designing the entire AV system. This included integration and commissioning the complete setup for various spaces within the facility. The Gurgaon office features multiple areas, including a reception, various meeting rooms, a huddle room, a 22-person boardroom, a 55-seater training setup, breakout areas, a cafeteria, and digital signage.
The project showcased SISPL’s ability to deliver comprehensive AV solutions tailored to diverse needs, reinforcing Maersk’s confidence in SISPL’s capabilities and further solidifying their partnership.
WHAT DID THE CLIENT WANT TO ACHIEVE?
The client wanted to ensure that the employees get a seamless, smoother, and user-friendly system that they can operate with our technical intervention. The interface should closely resemble the one they are accustomed to using in their Mumbai office to maintain design consistency. Additionally, all Meeting Rooms needed to be furnished with UC Systems, and given that they utilize Microsoft Teams, all meeting spaces are also equipped with Teams-based conferencing systems and room booking capabilities. Therefore, the signage, room booking systems, and VC are all integrated with Office 365 or Microsoft Teams.
SCOPE OF WORK YOUR COMPANY WAS INVOLVED IN
The design process was meticulously carried out in collaboration with Maersk’s IT team, projects team, and end users. Through comprehensive discussions and a thorough analysis of customer expectations and requirements, we developed the design for the complete AV systems and digital signage. Feedback from the client was crucial in fine-tuning the design, which was meticulously documented in the bill of materials. As consultants, SISPL took charge of integrating and commissioning the finalized design across the new Gurgaon facility. The project encompassed a variety of spaces, including a reception area, multiple meeting rooms, a huddle room, a 22-person boardroom, a 55-seater training room, breakout areas, a cafeteria, and digital signage. WHAT KEY CHALLENGES WERE FACED?
Maersk—’ Delhi Gateway’ is an extension to their Mumbai Office. Maersk is one of the Largest Shipping and Logistics Companies, and they enforce strict security protocols at their facilities. We were required to adhere to these measures within a tight time frame. In addition to technical and security challenges, we also encountered logistical and cost challenges.
HOW WERE THOSE CHALLENGES RESOLVED?
We thoroughly organised the project to ensure punctual deliveries, aligning with our customers’ preferences and approvals. We thoughtfully selected products to maintain a competitive edge in pricing while also striking a balance between approved brands and costs. In terms of security, we maintained a consistent team from the project’s inception to its completion. All security issues were addressed effectively, and safety protocols were strictly followed in accordance with site restrictions.
HOW HAS YOUR WORK HELPED THE CLIENT?
We have successfully provided them and their employees with seamless continuity, ensuring the experience they have in the Mumbai office is very similar to their Gurgaon office as well. All the systems are State-of-the-art and as per Maersk Global Standards, which align with Microsoft Teams standards.
WHAT ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF ABOUT THE PROJECT?
Since we designed and implemented the system, we have been in complete control of the products we offer, the delivery schedule, the product functionality, and, most importantly, the customer’s expectations. Being familiar with the Maersk System, we were able to not only meet but exceed their expectations by providing seamless support and installation within the agreed timeline.
