The Bay Club & Maker Maxity Mall. The client wanted to transform the space into a premium infotainment space that offered a seamless experience for visitors. We were involved in the full chain of the project from supply, installation and commissioning of the integrated AV and automation solutions.

The Maker Maxity and Bay Club project involves the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of integrated Audio-Visual and automation solutions across various zones within the premises. The objective is to deliver a seamless, high-performance AV experience to meet the client’s collaborative, presentation, and communication needs.

What Key Challenges were faced?

1. Space Constraints & Integration
Integrating advanced AV equipment into premium commercial interiors without disturbing the aesthetic design was a major challenge. The design had to ensure minimal visual impact while maintaining accessibility and serviceability.

2. Multi-Stakeholder Coordination
Coordination with architects, interior designers, electrical contractors, and the client’s IT team demanded precise scheduling and alignment of priorities, especially during installation phases.

3. Acoustic and Lighting Conditions
The acoustic profile and ambient lighting in some rooms posed challenges for audio clarity and video display readability. Custom tuning and component selection were needed to overcome these.

4. High Expectations for Quality and Finish
Being a high-profile corporate environment, the client had extremely high expectations regarding finishing, alignment, and cable management. Even minor deviations were not acceptable.

How were those challenges resolved?

1, Space Constraints & Integration – Resolved with Tailored Design Solutions
We conducted detailed site surveys and collaborated closely with the interior team to customise equipment enclosures, mounts, and cable pathways. Equipment placement was optimised for both aesthetics and serviceability.

2, Multi-Stakeholder Coordination – Resolved Through Structured Communication & Planning
Weekly coordination meetings, clear documentation, and shared timelines helped align all stakeholders. We maintained a single point of contact for each discipline, ensuring faster decision-making and reducing installation conflicts or delays.

3, Acoustic and Lighting Conditions – Resolved with Targeted Technical Adjustments
We used beamforming arrays and DSP tuning to address room acoustics. We chose high-brightness, anti-glare panels and adjusted screen positioning to reduce reflections. Fine-tuning was done post-installation for optimal audio-visual performance.

4, High Expectations for Quality and Finish – Resolved with Rigorous Quality Checks
Our team adhered to a strict QA process during and after installation. Cable management was concealed using custom trunking and false panelling. Precision tools were used to ensure perfect alignment of display panels and hardware.

In the Maker Maxity project, the work provided helped the client in the following ways:

What are you most proud of about the project?

What we are most proud of in the Maker Maxity project is how effectively we managed to integrate complex AV solutions into a high-end commercial space without compromising on aesthetics or performance. We faced several challenges, including space constraints, client-specific customisations, and coordination with multiple stakeholders. Despite these, we delivered a technically sound and visually seamless system — especially the video wall and conferencing solutions, which met both functional and design expectations. Seeing everything come together to meet the client’s goals on time and with high satisfaction was a real point of pride.

Ozen Mansion aims to be the pinnacle of Kolkata’s cultural heritage, where the grandeur of the historic era of the city meets contemporary luxury. It is a luxurious, brand-new, grand hotel started in Kolkata.

When Vallect was brought on board as the AV integration partner for this iconic hotel project, we knew we were stepping into something special. The vision was clear: create a seamless, high-end audiovisual experience across every corner of the property.

From the Ballroom to the vibrant Banquet Hall, from executive Board Rooms to sleek Meeting Rooms, and even the exclusive Presidential Suites, we set out to transform each space with tailored AV solutions. Our team deployed cutting-edge Videowalls, immersive projection systems, and advanced setups for video conferencing, live streaming, and recording, ensuring the hotel was ready to host everything from intimate gatherings to high-profile events.

To elevate the guest experience, we integrated a background music system over Dante Protocol, enveloping the entire hotel in rich, high-quality sound. Selected areas also received intelligent lighting control and integration, adding an extra layer of ambience and sophistication.

What did the client want to achieve?

Ozen Mansion expected its AV solution to deliver seamless, high-performance technology that enhances guest experience and operational efficiency while blending into the property’s architectural aesthetics. The system must offer centralised control and real-time monitoring of multiple AV zones, covering ballrooms, banquets, meeting spaces, lobbies, and F&B outlets.

Client required a reliable conferencing system with crystal-clear audio, wireless presentation capabilities, and robust video distribution that supports HDR content for corporate events and social gatherings. Background music systems should be zoned, integrated with scheduling software, and dynamically adaptable to changing ambience requirements.

Integration with the lighting and shading control(presidential suites only) is essential to create automated, scenario-based AV presets for events and day-to-day operations.

Scope of work your company was involved in

Ozen Mansion sprawls across 14 floors. We developed AV solutions for the entire hotel, which involves multiple spaces like Ballrooms, party lawn, party hall, Banquet Hall, meeting rooms, boardrooms, presidential suites, speciality restaurants, bars & other common areas.

We have delivered Complete BGM across the hotel space. Users can play different or the same audio across various spaces. Our BGM solution is spread across multiple locations, including speciality Restaurants, Spas, Ballrooms, presidential suites, common areas, Gyms, lobbies, and reception areas, among others.

We have done lighting integration for the Ballroom. In the Presidential suite space, we have delivered the complete lighting automation & curtain control.

To enhance the user experience and functionality of the conference room by providing users with a seamless and user-friendly interface for managing and controlling the various room technologies and environments. To facilitate seamless switching, a robust control solution was necessary.

To make it a hassle-free solution, we considered a touch panel user interface that contains different presets, allowing users to easily control any device by pressing a button on the touch panel.

What Key Challenges were faced?

Architectural Challenges:
Integrating AV infrastructure without compromising the design intent requires customised mounting solutions, concealed cable pathways, and coordination with architects during early design phases.

Multi-Environment Zoning:
Hotels comprise diverse spaces- ballrooms, boardrooms, banquets, restaurants, lobbies, and guest areas, each with unique AV requirements.

System Interoperability:
AV systems must integrate with existing hotel infrastructure, including the BMS, lighting, and IoT-enabled devices. Ensuring compatibility across different protocols (Dante, AV-over-IP, etc.) demands advanced system design and rigorous testing.

Operational Simplicity for Non-Technical Staff:
AV systems must be intuitive for non-technical users. Designing user interfaces with scenario-based presets while maintaining backend complexity for technical teams is a balancing act.

How were those challenges resolved?

Architectural Solutions:
Use discreet AV hardware like in-ceiling speakers, ultra-short-throw projectors, and motorised display lifts. Engage early with architects and interior designers to plan concealed conduits, custom enclosures, and finish-matching hardware.

Multi-Environment Zoning Solution:
We deployed an AV-over-IP distribution system that allows flexible routing of audio/video to any zone. We used network-based matrix switchers and DSPs with scalable I/O to manage diverse spaces.

System Interoperability:
Designed the BGM system on Dante Protocol to ensure interoperability. Used control processors for modern AV solutions.

Operational Simplicity for Staff:
Deploy touchscreen-based control panels with role-specific user interfaces. Create event-driven presets (e.g., “Wedding Mode”, “Conference Mode”) to simplify complex AV scenarios into single-button operations. Provide regular training & offer maintenance & support services.

Our scope of work focused on integrating advanced AV and automation systems across key hospitality zones while preserving the resort’s serene ambience and architectural integrity

The project encompassed the Banquet Hall, Function Room, Executive Meeting Rooms, Pool Bar, Dance Bar, and various public areas, with a comprehensive BGM (Background Music) system deployed throughout. In the banquet and meeting spaces, we provided high-definition display solutions, professional-grade audio systems, and centralised control interfaces that support seamless event hosting—from corporate gatherings to destination weddings.

At the Pool Bar and outdoor zones, discreetly placed weather-resistant speakers deliver ambient music, enhancing the leisure experience without disturbing the visual aesthetics of the landscape. The Banquet and Meeting Rooms featured varied acoustical profiles and flexible layouts, which posed challenges for consistent sound coverage and clarity. Custom tuning and strategic speaker placement were essential to minimise echo, feedback, and dead zones.

Outdoor Audio Integration
Ensuring high-quality background music in the poolside and open-air areas while dealing with environmental factors such as humidity, salt exposure, and temperature variation requires weather-resistant, corrosion-proof equipment without compromising sound quality.

User-Friendly System Control
The client requested a centralised yet simple control system that could be operated by non-technical staff.

Coordination with Ongoing Operations
The installation had to be carried out without disrupting guest services, requiring phased execution, silent hours work, and close coordination with the hotel operations and project management teams.

Nilaya Anthology is a premier design destination in Mumbai, blending global luxury with India’s rich artisanal heritage. This 100,000-square-foot space in Lower Parel, Mumbai, showcases an eclectic mix of home décor, collectable design, and craftsmanship.

The space is divided into three zones—the Shop House, Showroom, and Connector—linked by a sculptural ramp that doubles as a curated gallery for emerging artists. It houses rare hand-stitched textiles, hand-knotted rugs, and antique treasures sourced from celebrated auctions. The collection features renowned names like Atelier Ashiesh Shah, Cox London, and Nilufar, alongside brands such as Cassina, Bisazza, and Dedar.

Nilaya Anthology is more than a retail space; it is a cultural catalyst, offering immersive experiences that redefine luxury design. It also hosts the debut showcase of The Sabyasachi Art Foundation, further cementing its role as a hub for artistic and design excellence.

What did the client want to achieve?

The primary objective was to design an environment that was not only visually stunning but also functionally versatile, catering to a diverse set of experiences—from high-end retail and collectable design to exhibitions, events, and collaborative cultural showcases. By dividing the space into three distinct zones—Shop House, Showroom, and Connector—linked by a sculptural ramp doubling as a curated art gallery, the client intended to create a narrative journey for visitors, where each zone unfolds a unique design story.

To support this multifaceted vision, Nilaya Anthology required a robust AV and IT infrastructure that could deliver flexibility, scalability, and seamless user experience. We were entrusted with delivering a comprehensive, future-ready AV infrastructure to support the unique vision of Nilaya Anthology. The scope of work focused on deploying a centralised, flexible, and robust networked audio system that would cater to a variety of spatial and experiential needs across the 100,000-square-foot facility.

Key responsibilities included the supply, installation, configuration, and commissioning of a Dante-enabled network audio system, designed to support seamless signal routing across the entire premises. This included the Gallery Space, Flexible Event Areas, The Orangery, 35 curated retail stores, the Material Library, and multiple administrative areas with six cabins and six meeting rooms.

What Key Challenges were faced?

1. Diverse Functional Requirements with 35 uniquely designed stores, event spaces, galleries, and admin areas, each requiring tailored AV and IT solutions.
2. Complex Network Architecture.
3. Advanced AV Requirements in Specialised Spaces such as The Orangery, Flexible Event Space, and Gallery featured high-end AV setups including LED walls, projectors, wireless mics, line-array speakers, and digital mixers.

1. AV Solution Tailored for each of the three store types to match their unique functionality and aesthetics.
2. Implemented a Dante-enabled audio network allowing centralised music playback with local control via wall plates in each store.
3. Used compact, design-friendly AV components and custom mounting solutions to blend seamlessly with premium interiors.
4. Designed a Robust Network infrastructure and deployed a high-performance spine-and-leaf network using Netgear’s M4350 AV-line switches and single-mode fibre for stability and scalability.
5. Integrated high-end AV gear (e.g., LED walls, digital mixers, projectors) in event and gallery spaces, ensuring professional-grade performance.
6. Used DTP HDMI extenders and Dante audio adapters to ensure high-quality signal transmission across large distances without loss.
7. Close Collaboration with Designers & Vendors, Maintained continuous coordination with architects, global brand teams, and contractors to ensure seamless integration. Managed phased execution with flexible scheduling, quickly adapting to on-site design or layout changes.
