BUDGET: Between 5 crore INR and 9.99 crore INR (More than USD672,000 but less than USD1.35 million)

Project Overview
Within a compact 705 sq. ft. footprint, Online Instruments has delivered a cutting-edge, immersive Experience Centre for Siemens Advanta’s Smart Grids & Infrastructure team. The space is intelligently divided into high-impact zones: a dynamic welcome zone, an immersive capability zone featuring ‘Swipe & Share’ interactivity, and a futuristic product demo zone powered by future mirror technology. Users can explore and interact with over 4,000 Siemens transmission power equipment models in stunning 3D visuals. A tabletop demo uses projection mapping to bring Siemens’ smart infrastructure solutions to life. A collaborative wall integrates UC capabilities with real-time feedback displays, creating a truly interactive and future-ready environment. This high-tech showcase proves that significant impact doesn’t need a big space – just the right vision and innovation—total Project value: $0.7 Million.
What did the client want to achieve?
Siemens Advanta’s Smart Grids & Infrastructure (SGI) team envisioned a compact yet high-impact Experience Centre within a limited 705 sq. ft. space to showcase their cutting-edge innovations effectively. The goal was to create an immersive, technology-driven environment that could communicate complex solutions in smart infrastructure and digital transformation to clients—maximising storytelling, engagement, and value within a minimal footprint.
Scope of work your company was involved in
To create a cutting-edge, immersive experience centre for Siemens Advanta’s Smart Grids & Infrastructure team within a compact 705 sq ft space. Design and plan the technology for the different zones and to create an interactive experience, including projection mapping on a tabletop.
What Key Challenges were faced?
Challenges: Limited Space (705 sq. ft.) vs. High Impact Requirements.
Delivering multiple experience zones, 3D demos, and collaboration tools in a small footprint. Fitting advanced AV, projection mapping, future mirror tech, and UC
systems without clutter or technical interference. Rendering and navigating a large number of 3D models interactively, without lag.
Maintaining visibility and precision across zones with varying ambient Light for Projection mapping accuracy. Multiple interactive elements required a seamless user journey with minimal learning curve.
How were those challenges resolved?
Intelligent space planning with modular design and multi-use interactive surfaces, ensuring each zone adds unique value without compromising movement or aesthetics. Used compact, high-performance hardware with centralised backend integration and precision cable management to maintain clean, functional zones.
Optimised 3D assets, high-GPU processing systems, and intuitive UI to ensure smooth, engaging user interaction.Implemented controlled lighting zones and used high-lumen, auto-calibrated projectors to retain mapping accuracy and visual consistency.
Developed a unified control interface with intuitive navigation across all zones and technologies, enabling smooth transitions and engagement.
How has your work helped the client
We have helped the client achieve their objectives of showcasing their development and capability to visitors in an interactive manner. Within a compact 705 sq. ft. footprint, we delivered a cutting-edge, immersive Experience Centre for Siemens Advanta’s Smart Grids & Infrastructure team.
What are you most proud of about the project?
We are proud to have achieved a 3D projection video, showcasing all Siemens verticals on the smart table in an advanced and effective manner.
