Project Overview

As the AV Design Consultant for Wipro’s flagship Experience Centre, MetaHive was entrusted with the responsibility of conceptualising a next-generation audiovisual environment that not only reflects Wipro’s cutting-edge technological prowess but also provides an engaging and memorable experience for its visitors.

To achieve this, we worked in close collaboration with Wipro’s internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless alignment between the spatial design and Wipro’s strategic messaging. Our AV Design Solution was designed to support a narrative-driven journey, where customers and partners could explore Wipro’s innovations through a blend of interactive displays, immersive projection systems, touch-enabled storytelling interfaces, and sensor-based environments.

Every element was meticulously curated to ensure intuitive operation and a wow-factor user experience. The result is a future-ready space that not only reinforces Wipro’s brand identity as a global technology leader but also enhances the effectiveness of its customer engagements and business storytelling.

Through this project, MetaHive successfully transformed Wipro’s vision into a tangible, high-impact experience.


What did the client want to achieve?

The client aimed to create a dynamic and immersive environment that could effectively demonstrate Wipro’s diverse capabilities across multiple industry sectors. Their goal was to engage visitors—clients, partners, and stakeholders—through interactive storytelling and cutting-edge technology, enabling them to experience Wipro’s innovations firsthand in areas like Healthcare, Aerospace, Retail, Industrial Automation, and Energy. Ultimately, the Experience Centre was envisioned as a powerful platform to build brand credibility, drive business conversations, and showcase Wipro as a leader in digital transformation.


Scope of work your company was involved in

Our scope began with developing a detailed AV experience blueprint and budgeting guidance to align technical excellence with commercial viability. We collaborated closely with Wipro’s internal stakeholders to ensure that the AV strategy supported their broader marketing and storytelling goals.

As part of our role, we worked directly with the content development team to ensure optimal content playback across various AV platforms. Additionally, we coordinated extensively with architects and interior vendors to integrate AV systems seamlessly into the physical space, addressing factors such as sightlines, acoustic treatment, structural provisions, cable routing, and lighting integration.

MetaHive further supported Wipro in evaluating and shortlisting AV vendors through a detailed technical assessment process. Once an integrator was selected, we provided implementation oversight—reviewing shop drawings, inspecting on-site progress, and ensuring adherence to design intent and quality standards.

Finally, we conducted system testing and commissioning, documenting all performance checks and preparing formal sign-off reports to hand over a fully functional, high-impact Experience Centre aligned with Wipro’s vision.


What Key Challenges were faced?

Designing the AV experience for Wipro’s Experience Centre presented a unique blend of technical and execution challenges that required innovative thinking and precise coordination. On the technical front, the client sought unconventional AV solutions, requiring the creation of bespoke, experiential installations that could communicate brand narratives engagingly and memorably.

Wipro also envisioned a fun and interactive zone to engage visitors dynamically, moving beyond passive displays to deliver a participatory experience. Additionally, they requested that the vertical showcases not be tied to fixed installations but instead remain agile and reconfigurable to suit evolving business priorities.

A major design constraint was the need for the system to function autonomously—without the need for a host to manually operate devices or an AV operator present during the customer journey. Furthermore, the solution had to be future-proof, capable of adapting to upcoming AV trends and technologies.

On the execution side, the timeline was a significant challenge. With less than 12 weeks from equipment delivery to go-live, BT Convergence Technologies (AV System Integrator) had to plan and execute with precision.


How were those challenges resolved?

To address the issues, we designed a range of unique AV installations and created an asymmetric, multi-layered Active LED installation, inspired by the architect’s stone wall cladding. In the reception zone, a convex LED display provided a striking and immersive welcome experience with 3D Anamorphic Naked Eye Content developed on real-time rendering platforms.

For interactive engagement, we conceptualised a gamified floor projection mapping zone using LiDAR sensors across a 20-meter-wide floor. When visitors interacted with the floor, content dynamically changed on a vertical transparent LED, blending movement and storytelling.

A highlight of the experience was a dedicated zone showcasing Wipro’s leadership in Industrial and Quantum Computing. This featured an 8K resolution Concave Active LED wall, paired with immersive audio-visual real-time rendering interactive (Unity Platform) content.

To ensure scalability and uncompromised performance, we implemented a centralised 20G AV over IP solution. Cameras placed across all zones fed into a central control room, enabling real-time monitoring and centralised control.

Despite a tight timeline, BT Convergence completed physical installation within 8 weeks, delivering a flawless, resilient solution.


How has your work helped the client

We helped Wipro shift from conventional display approaches to experiential storytelling, using advanced AV technologies such as 8K Concave Active LED, asymmetric LED configurations, and interactive projection mapping. This allowed them to demonstrate complex domains like Quantum Computing, Industrial Automation, Healthcare, and Retail in a way that was visually compelling and easy for customers to engage with.

By designing a centralised, 20G AV-over-IP architecture, we ensured long-term scalability, seamless content delivery, and integration with future trends. Our intuitive control system allowed Wipro to operate the entire centre effortlessly—without requiring on-ground AV operators—enhancing both autonomy and professionalism during client visits.

The interactive and modular nature of our solutions empowered Wipro to tailor presentations based on visitor profiles, creating personalized, high-impact engagements. Ultimately, the Experience Centre has become a powerful storytelling platform—enabling Wipro to showcase innovation, foster trust with clients, and accelerate strategic conversations.

In essence, our work not only elevated the visitor experience but also strengthened Wipro’s positioning as a forward-thinking, innovation-led technology partner on the global stage.


What are you most proud of about the project?

We’re most proud of transforming the Experience Centre into a future-ready, immersive environment that redefined client engagement for Wipro. From designing a custom asymmetric Active LED display inspired by architectural elements to implementing a centralised AV-over-IP system with pixel-perfect video distribution, every solution was crafted to deliver impact, flexibility, and scalability.

We introduced real-time rendering capabilities, a gamified interactive zone, and a Holographic Digital Avatar that welcomes visitors with contextual greetings—setting a high-tech tone from the moment they enter. A portable studio kit was the icing on the cake for podcast, interviews and testimonials, and Wipro and its customers appreciated it.

We’re very proud that Wipro’s leadership team acknowledged the experience as a transformative asset that reflects the brand’s digital-first vision. Delivering this within a demanding timeline—and seeing it become a benchmark space for executive engagements—is what we’re most proud of.
