PROJECT OVERVIEW
This multimedia laser show with aqua screen projection and musical fountain synchronization is unique due to its scale and technology integration. The inclusion of various elements like laser lights, underwater lighting, and moving heads makes it a standout project. The fact that this is the largest fountain multimedia show of its kind in India is the most profound feature of the project. It has an installation of the best fountain control software that controls more than 1000 nozzles with specifically designed RGBW lights to create a visual marvel on and through the water. A custom-made chipset enabled the origination of colours from the fountain vent entry, providing a stable colour grading in the show.
WHAT DID THE CLIENT WANT TO ACHIEVE?
The ambitious initiative that it was, the project aimed at achieving multiple objectives:
* One- enhancing the allure of Sanjeevaah Park by creating a visual spectacle through a mesmerizing multimedia show that blends laser lights, projection mapping, and musical water fountain.
* Two- engaging visitors through synchronized water dances choreographed to a diverse range of musical genres- classical compositions to contemporary hits, each performance to evoke emotions and create lasting memories.
* Three- to make it a blend of education and cultural enrichment via technology. For, the narrative along the visual is intended to take the visitors into the depths of the city’s rich history and heritage- immersing them in an engaging exploration of the city’s legacy.
SCOPE OF WORK YOUR COMPANY WAS INVOLVED IN
We were appointed as turnkey design project consultants under the government department M/s. Broadcast Engineers Consultants India Limited, Delhi. We have done a site survey and proposed the required engineering designs for the project. We have helped all the stakeholders with the entire project executions and the challenges. We have also coordinated with Script Writer, Musician – MM Kirvani (Golden Globe Award Winner and Oscar winner for best original song “RRR” “Nattu Nattu”) and Lyricist.
WHAT KEY CHALLENGES WERE FACED?
The lake was highly polluted. It had an inflow of waste disposal from the city. The location at which the fountain was set up was previously non-approachable. The lake had very old trees, which were conserved and re-planted with the help of the forest department. Cleaning algae and garbage from the lake bed was one of the biggest challenges. The electricity supply of 1MW from the HT line to the site was arranged separately. Due to government norms, permanent structures were not allowed for the viewing gallery of 1000 viewers.
HOW WERE THOSE CHALLENGES RESOLVED?
Intensive cleaning and drenching took place within the desired location with the help of various government agency. New road was developed along with civil work for the approach road. Forest department helped in replantation of huge trees at various locations. Special machinery and chemical were used for removal of algae/garbage, great help from local muncipal body. New electrical transmission lines were laid with electrical sub-station. To prevent unwanted substance entering into fountain system, stainless steel strainer was designed around the entire floating fountain system. The Bleachers were designed in such a manner where stability and beauty were not compromised. The viewing gallery also consists of a banquet hall on the top level even tho it is not a permanent structure. The whole bleacher/viewing gallery is made out of shipping containers to make sure it has strength and also has make shift arrangement.
HOW HAS YOUR WORK HELPED THE CLIENT?
This is India’s biggest musical fountain with lots of on-site challenges. The project has set a benchmark in the country. Enhance the park’s attractiveness with a captivating multimedia show that combines laser lights, projection mapping, and a musical water fountain.
