SCOPE OF WORK YOUR COMPANY WAS INVOLVED IN

Sigma AVIT undertook an extensive project to enhance the BIETC with advanced AV deployment. Our work involved designing, integrating, and deploying diverse AV solutions across various campus areas to “create” user experiences, facilitate collaboration, and learn.

In the reception area, we installed a 108” LED wall with a Crestron touch panel for an engaging welcome. The Experience Centre featured multiple zones, including interactive displays, a curved video wall, touch screens, and 3D holographic simulations, all equipped with top-tier audio systems. Meeting spaces like the Innovation Room, boardrooms, huddle spaces, and an executive meeting room were outfitted with high-definition displays and interactive tools for seamless collaboration. Training areas were designed with interactive AV setups to facilitate effective learning, while health and wellness areas, including yoga and gym spaces, were enhanced with ambient audio and digital displays. Our comprehensive AV integration transformed the BIETC campus into what exactly the client intended: a dynamic, engaging environment that fosters innovation, collaboration, and well-being.

WHAT KEY CHALLENGES WERE FACED?

Firstly, coordinating the installation of the vast array of AV solutions from diverse vendors within a tight timeline was demanding. The need to seamlessly integrate multiple complex systems, including interactive displays, curved video walls, and 3D holographic simulations, required meticulous planning and precise execution. Yet within the stipulated timeline, the fact that it was slated for the Prime Minister’s inauguration made it practically Prime for perfect execution.

Ensuring that the technology was user-friendly and intuitive for both employees and visitors was crucial, necessitating thorough testing and adjustments. Working within the architectural constraints of the existing infrastructure posed another challenge, as it required custom solutions to fit AV equipment without compromising the centre’s design aesthetic.

Maintaining uninterrupted progress while aligning with Boeing’s high standards for security and operational protocols added to the complexity. Furthermore, achieving flawless synchronization between various AV components to provide a seamless experience was a technical challenge that required innovative problem-solving.

Despite these hurdles, Sigma AVIT successfully delivered a state-of-the-art AV environment as intended by the client.

HOW WERE THOSE CHALLENGES RESOLVED?

We addressed the challenges through a combination of meticulous planning, innovative solutions, and close collaboration with all stakeholders.

To manage the tight timeline, we developed a detailed project schedule and coordinated closely with Boeing’s team, ensuring that every phase of installation was executed efficiently. Regular progress reviews and agile adjustments allowed us to stay on track.

For the integration of complex AV systems, we employed advanced design tools and conducted extensive pre-installation testing. This ensured the compatibility and smooth functionality of interactive displays, curved video walls, and 3D holographic simulations.

We conducted multiple user experience (UX) testing sessions to make the technology user-friendly, gather feedback, and make necessary adjustments. We also provided comprehensive training sessions to Boeing employees to familiarize them with the new systems.

Addressing architectural constraints, our engineers designed custom mounts and enclosures for the AV equipment, ensuring seamless integration without disrupting the centre’s existing design aesthetic.

We adhered to Boeing’s stringent security and operational protocols by working closely with their security team. This ensured that all installations met their high standards without compromising on the timeline.

The challenge of synchronizing various AV components was tackled through advanced programming and configuration, ensuring that all systems worked in harmony. We also implemented robust testing and troubleshooting processes to identify and resolve any issues promptly.
