Project Overview

This project delivers a fully integrated audio-visual and control system designed to support high-quality conferencing, presentations, and wireless collaboration. The setup includes a 100” LG dual display in the primary space and a 65” dual display in the secondary area, supporting local and remote content sharing.

A network-based video conferencing system features two 4K PTZ cameras, platform compatibility (Zoom, Teams, Webex), and seamless audio-video integration. Audio is managed through a QSC DSP with Dante networking, distributing sound to 24 ceiling speakers, 4 column speakers, and six powered subwoofers for full-room coverage.

Voice input is captured via a Sennheiser wireless system with handheld, lavalier, and gooseneck mics, along with a Catchbox for audience interaction. All AV components are connected through HDBaseT and managed via a 48-port PoE++ network switch, supporting AV over IP.

Centralised control is provided through a 10.7” touch panel with a customised user interface, allowing intuitive control of AV sources, audio levels, and conferencing presets. The system leverages top-tier brands including QSC, LG, Samsung, Sennheiser, Logitech, and Cisco to ensure reliability, scalability, and ease of use.

What did the client want to achieve?

The client wanted a cutting-edge AV system to enable seamless hybrid collaboration, combining local presentations, wireless sharing, and video conferencing. They required large dual displays—a 100” LG setup in the main room and a 65” dual display in a secondary area—to deliver clear visuals. The system needed to support multiple input sources, easy switching between local content, wireless presentations, and cable TV.

On audio, the client sought high-quality sound coverage with ceiling array speakers, column speakers, and subwoofers, along with wireless handheld, lavalier, and gooseneck microphones for flexibility.

A centralised, intuitive control interface via a touch panel was essential for managing AV devices smoothly. The solution had to integrate seamlessly with popular conferencing platforms, be reliable, scalable, and future-proof to enhance user experience and productivity in hybrid meetings.

Scope of work your company was involved in

Our company provided end-to-end design revisions, India-specific, supply, installation, and commissioning of a fully integrated AV system. This included installing a 100” LG dual display in the main room and a 65” dual display in the secondary area. We implemented two 4K PTZ cameras, HDBaseT video distribution, and a Dante-based QSC DSP audio system with 24 ceiling speakers, column speakers, and subwoofers. Wireless microphones (handheld, lavalier, gooseneck, and Catchbox) were integrated for flexible voice capture.

A centralised control system with a 10.7” touch panel and custom GUI was delivered for seamless management of audio, video, and conferencing functions. All devices were connected through a managed 48-port PoE++ network switch supporting AV-over-IP. We ensured compatibility with major video conferencing platforms and provided user training, testing, and support. The solution enables reliable hybrid meetings, local presentations, and wireless collaboration, delivering high-quality AV performance with simplified control.

What Key Challenges were faced?

Integration of Multiple Technologies: Ensuring seamless interoperability between diverse systems—video conferencing platforms, Dante audio, HDBaseT video distribution, and wireless microphones—required careful planning and testing.

Network Infrastructure: Designing a robust, low-latency AV-over-IP network with proper PoE++ power delivery, VLAN segmentation, and QoS settings was critical to prevent lag and ensure reliability.

Acoustic Optimisation: Achieving clear, even audio coverage in an ample space with ceiling arrays, column speakers, and subwoofers demanded precise speaker placement and DSP tuning.

User-Friendly Control: Developing an intuitive, centralised touch panel interface that simplifies complex AV operations for non-technical users posed a design challenge.

Scalability and Future-Proofing: Building a flexible system capable of supporting future expansions and technology upgrades without major redesigns.

How were those challenges resolved?

Technology Integration: We conducted thorough compatibility testing and leveraged industry-standard protocols like Dante and HDBaseT to ensure seamless communication between devices. Custom control system programming unified the various AV components into a single manageable interface.

Network Infrastructure: Collaborating closely with the client’s IT team, we designed a dedicated, managed PoE++ network switch with proper VLANs and QoS prioritisation to guarantee low latency and stable AV-over-IP performance.

Acoustic Optimisation: Using acoustic modelling and on-site measurements, we strategically positioned speakers and fine-tuned the QSC DSP settings to deliver even sound coverage and minimise feedback across the room.

User-Friendly Control: Our team developed a customised touch panel GUI focused on simplicity and intuitive navigation, backed by comprehensive user training to empower non-technical users to operate the system confidently.

Scalability: The solution was built on modular, networked components and open standards, allowing easy integration of future devices or upgrades without major infrastructure changes.
