The St. Regis Goa Resort, a luxury beachfront property nestled in South Goa, is renowned for its refined elegance and impeccable hospitality. Our scope of work focused on integrating advanced AV and automation systems across key hospitality zones while preserving the resort’s serene ambience and architectural integrity

The project encompassed the Banquet Hall, Function Room, Executive Meeting Rooms, Pool Bar, Dance Bar, and various public areas, with a comprehensive BGM (Background Music) system deployed throughout. In the banquet and meeting spaces, we provided high-definition display solutions, professional-grade audio systems, and centralised control interfaces that support seamless event hosting—from corporate gatherings to destination weddings.

At the Pool Bar and outdoor zones, discreetly placed weather-resistant speakers deliver ambient music, enhancing the leisure experience without disturbing the visual aesthetics of the landscape. All AV systems are integrated into a centralised control platform, enabling the staff to manage different zones easily and efficiently.

The result is a harmonious blend of technology and luxury, ensuring guests enjoy an elevated and immersive experience while maintaining the understated charm and tranquillity that define The St. Regis brand.

The client’s primary goal at The St. Regis Goa Resort was to seamlessly integrate premium AV and automation solutions that align with the brand’s legacy of refined luxury and personalised service. The focus was on enhancing the guest experience, event hosting capabilities, and operational efficiency across various key areas of the resort.

Our company was entrusted with delivering a fully integrated AV and background music (BGM) solution across key hospitality zones of The St. Regis Goa Resort, ensuring premium guest experiences and operational ease without compromising the aesthetic and acoustic quality of the resort.

The scope included:

* Banquet & Function Room Supply and installation of professional-grade audio-visual systems, including Active LED Wall, high-lumen projectors, motorised screens, and distributed audio.

* Integration of wireless microphone systems, DSP-based audio processing, and control automation to support corporate events and weddings.

* Executive Meeting Rooms.

* Installation of video conferencing systems, high-resolution displays, and boardroom-grade AV equipment.

* Pool Bar and Outdoor Areas.

* Deployment of weather-resistant speakers and amplifiers to deliver consistent, high-quality background music.

* Zone-based volume and source control to tailor the ambience for different times of day and guest moods.

* BGM System Across Common Areas.

* Full zoning and source routing capability through a centralised control interface.

* Background music integration in lobbies, corridors, restaurants, and lounges is aligned with St. Regis brand standards.


What Key Challenges were faced?

Maintaining Aesthetic Integrity
Integrating AV systems into a high-end luxury resort required solutions that were powerful yet discreet. Special attention had to be given to preserving interior design elements, ensuring that speakers, displays, and control panels did not disrupt the resort’s sophisticated aesthetics.

Acoustic Limitations in Multi-Use Spaces
The Banquet and Meeting Rooms featured varied acoustical profiles and flexible layouts, which posed challenges for consistent sound coverage and clarity. Custom tuning and strategic speaker placement were essential to minimise echo, feedback, and dead zones.

Outdoor Audio Integration
Ensuring high-quality background music in the poolside and open-air areas while dealing with environmental factors such as humidity, salt exposure, and temperature variation requires weather-resistant, corrosion-proof equipment without compromising sound quality.

User-Friendly System Control
The client requested a centralised yet simple control system that could be operated by non-technical staff.

Coordination with Ongoing Operations
The installation had to be carried out without disrupting guest services, requiring phased execution, silent hours work, and close coordination with the hotel operations and project management teams.


How were those challenges resolved?

Maintaining Aesthetic Integrity
To preserve the resort’s elegant design, we selected low-profile speakers, concealed cabling, and flush-mounted equipment. Custom brackets and colour-matched hardware were used to blend components into the architecture without visual intrusion.

Acoustic Limitations in Multi-Use Spaces
We conducted a detailed acoustic analysis of the banquet and meeting rooms to identify optimal speaker types and placement. DSP (Digital Signal Processing) was implemented to fine-tune sound across various room configurations, ensuring consistent audio coverage and clarity for both speech and music.

Outdoor Audio Integration
For the pool bar and outdoor zones, we installed IP-rated weather-resistant speakers designed for marine and tropical environments.

User-Friendly System Control
We developed a customised, touch-based control interface that allowed hotel staff to manage AV and BGM across different zones easily.

Coordination with Ongoing Operations
A phased installation schedule was implemented, with close coordination between our team, hotel management, and other contractors. Work was carried out during low occupancy periods and off-peak hours, ensuring minimal disruption to guest services.
