Project Overview

To support a fast-evolving hybrid work culture, Morningstar aimed to shift from a legacy AV setup to a unified, intelligent AV ecosystem that could match global standards in audio, video, and room control. All Wave AV responded with a fully integrated, AI-powered solution tailored for scalability, efficiency, and AVIXA-compliant room design.

What did the client want to achieve?

Morningstar’s primary goal was to modernise its AV infrastructure across 40+ meeting rooms at its Navi Mumbai campus to support a high-performing, hybrid work environment. The company sought to replace outdated systems with a standardised, scalable, and user-friendly AV ecosystem that could deliver seamless Zoom-native collaboration, crystal-clear audio and 4K video, and centralised control across two buildings.

Scope of work your company was involved in

End-to-End AV Integration across 40+ Meeting Rooms in 2 Buildings (Platinum & Vishwaroop)

What Key Challenges were faced?

* Outdated AV systems with limited hybrid support.
* Inconsistent display sizes and legacy projectors.
* Lack of centralised management for 40+ rooms.
* Varied room types with unique AV needs.* Poor acoustic pickup in larger rooms.

How were those challenges resolved?

* Replaced with Poly AI VC bars for enhanced video/audio tracking and Zoom optimisation.
* Upgraded to custom-fitted 4K displays aligned with AVIXA standards.
* Implemented QSC Core 110f with Poly TC10 panels for streamlined control.
* Conducted room-specific AV audits for tailored AV architecture and deployment.
* Installed Dante-based Shure microphones and Helvia ceiling speaker systems.

How has your work helped the client

* Delivered via AI-powered Poly VC systems across all room types.
* Poly Zoom control panels provided intuitive access and source switching.
* Achieved through modular deployment strategy and room-size-based design.
* Delivered through Dante networking and a centralised AV control architecture.

What are you most proud of about the project?

Spanning two buildings and nine floors, this large-scale deployment required careful coordination, precision engineering, and user-centric design. We’re particularly proud of the seamless transition from legacy Logitech systems to a fully integrated Poly-based video conferencing setup, supported by Shure microphones, 4K display upgrades, and Dante-enabled audio infrastructure.

The implementation of centralised control via QSC Core DSPs and Poly TC10 touch panels simplified the user experience while ensuring consistency across all spaces—from huddle rooms to training centres.
