Project Overview

This project involves the strategic design and deployment of a comprehensive AV infrastructure for a contemporary facility tailored to support productivity, flexible communication, and hybrid collaboration. The layout incorporates 10 dedicated meeting rooms ranging from intimate 4-pax spaces to a fully-equipped 12-pax boardroom, ensuring scalable options for various team sizes and meeting formats. Three specialised collaboration zones and a tiered step seating area foster interactive and informal engagement, while a centralised Network Operations Centre (NOC) delivers robust monitoring and control capabilities. The inclusion of functional common areas such as a multi-purpose cafeteria—enhances overall user experience and operational flow. By seamlessly integrating advanced AV technologies across all zones, the environment is optimised for high-performance, future-ready communication in both physical and virtual contexts.

What did the client want to achieve?

The client sought to build an advanced and collaborative workspace that promotes seamless communication, real-time monitoring, and efficient coordination. A major component was a multi-zone Network Operations Centre (NOC) featuring active LED walls connected to multiple PCs for dynamic visual oversight. To enhance operational flexibility and reduce clutter, key PCs were centrally located in a rack and operated over KVM. High-quality, zone-specific audio was integrated to ensure precise sound distribution across command zones.

Beyond the NOC, the vision included a range of meeting room setups (from 4 to 10 seats), each designed for smooth video conferencing with support for Zoom, Teams, and other platforms. Versatile connectivity options like HDMI and Type-C were included to accommodate various devices and ensure plug-and-play usability.
Overall, the project aimed to deliver an innovative, scalable AV ecosystem that blends functionality, flexibility, and aesthetics—enhancing productivity and communication across the entire facility.

Scope of work your company was involved in

Innovative Systems and Solutions Private Limited (ISSPL) was responsible for delivering a complete AV setup for a modern control and meeting space. Their role covered everything—from laying the groundwork with cabling and infrastructure to installing AV Equipment, Its Commissioning and Programming. The team carefully managed how visuals were displayed across large LED walls and how sound was handled in different zones to make sure everything was clear and synchronised. They also designed an easy-to-use touch-based control system so users could manage AV functions like switching sources or adjusting audio without hassle. In various meeting rooms and open spaces, ISSPL made sure the AV experience was consistent and neatly integrated—respecting the look and feel of the architecture while keeping functionality intact. Their work supported smooth video conferencing across platforms like Zoom and Teams, and the final setup combined high performance with ease of use, ready for both day-to-day collaboration and special operations.

What Key Challenges were faced?

High-Density Signal Management in NOC, Complex Video Wall Processing and USB KVM

Managing 32 PCs (each with dual HDMI outputs) and routing them effectively across eight large LED walls across four zones required precise signal distribution and reliable processing without latency or signal degradation. Implementing 8K videowall processing with Analogue Way hardware involved intricate configuration and alignment of multiple high-resolution Active LED Video walls.

Bandwidth and Network Design for SDVoE – Deploying Lightware’s SDVoE extenders over a 10G backbone demanded a robust and high-throughput network infrastructure, free from packet loss, latency issues, or switching delays under heavy AV traffic.

Uniform AV Experience Across Diverse Meeting Rooms – Ensuring a consistent user experience in rooms of varying capacities (4 to 12 pax), each with different hardware combinations, required standardised installation practices and careful coordination of device interoperability.

How were those challenges resolved?

Implemented a matrixed SDVoE AV-over-IP architecture to manage high-bandwidth HDMI signals over a 10G fibre backbone with near-zero latency, and also provided much-needed USB KVM, which was an essential part of the project.

Deployed Analogway 8K processors that enabled complex video wall configurations, ensuring synchronised visuals across high-resolution panels. Lightware’s SDVoE extenders deployed over a 10G backbone demanded a robust, low-latency network infrastructure to sustain heavy AV traffic without packet loss.

Integrated QSC DSPs with multizone audio matrixing to isolate and tune ceiling speaker zones independently per NOC section.

Developed a custom Crestron control UI on TSW touch panels for intuitive control of AV routing, display power, audio levels, and source switching.

Standardised BYOD interfacing using universal switchers supporting HDMI, USB, and Type-C with autosensing and EDID management.

Utilised recessed conduit routing and low-profile AV mounts to preserve aesthetics in shared spaces while ensuring full AV functionality.

How has your work helped the client

* Enabled real-time multi-zone monitoring through synchronised 8K videowall processing and high-density PC signal management.
* Streamlined hybrid collaboration by deploying universally compatible AV setups across all meeting room types.
* Delivered intuitive system control via touch-panel interfaces, reducing dependency on technical staff.
* Enhanced situational awareness and responsiveness through zone-isolated audio and seamless visual distribution.
* Created a unified AV ecosystem that supports flexible presentations, conferencing, and digital signage across all shared spaces.

What are you most proud of about the project?

We are most proud of delivering a fully integrated, future-ready AV ecosystem that seamlessly blends advanced technology with user-centric design. From enabling real-time monitoring across multi-zone LED videowalls to providing intuitive control systems and flawless video collaboration in every meeting space, our work reflects both technical precision and a deep understanding of the client’s needs. The successful implementation of SDVoE over a 10G backbone, along with standardised BYOD compatibility and zone-wise audio, stands as a testament to our engineering excellence.
