Project Overview

The SHAR (Satish Dhawan Space Centre) Media Centre is a mission-critical facility used by ISRO during rocket launch events for official media briefings attended by the ISRO Chairman, SHAR Director, scientists, and national and international press representatives. The project involved delivering an intelligent AV control system that streamlined microphone management, camera tracking, content display, recording, and centralized system operation for high-profile press conferences and multi-purpose events.

The solution integrated Q-SYS-based centralized control with Sennheiser digital conference microphones, PTZ camera automation, an LED video wall, recording, and audio reinforcement into a single intuitive platform. Through custom Q-SYS programming, the system was enhanced to support both Push-to-Talk and Request-to-Speak modes, despite the hardware natively supporting only Push-to-Talk. The project also included an innovative structural solution for the LED video wall installation.

The result is a reliable, user-friendly, and future-ready AV platform that enhances operational efficiency, simplifies media event management, and delivers a seamless communication experience for one of India’s most prestigious space facilities.

What did the client want to achieve?

The client required a centralized and intelligent AV platform for the SHAR Media Centre to support high-profile media briefings during ISRO rocket launch campaigns. The facility needed to accommodate 160 delegate microphones, 6 chairman microphones, 2 podium microphones, and 6 wireless handheld microphones, while providing seamless interaction between ISRO officials, scientists, and media representatives.

The system was required to provide centralized operation through a Q-SYS Touch Panel and PC, with support for both Push-to-Talk and Request-to-Speak conference modes, automatic PTZ camera tracking, live content display on the 8.4 m × 3.03 m LED video wall, meeting recording, and complete control of all AV devices from a single interface. In addition, the solution had to support diverse applications, including press conferences, technical presentations, training sessions, cultural events, and internal meetings.

The client expected a reliable, intuitive, and future-ready solution that simplified operations, enhanced the user experience, and ensured seamless performance during mission-critical media engagements and day-to-day events.

Scope of work your company was involved in

The scope of work included the complete design validation, supply, installation, integration, programming, testing, commissioning, and handover of the SHAR Media Centre AV system. This comprised an 8.4 m × 3.03 m LED video wall, Q-SYS centralized AV control platform, Sennheiser digital conference system, PTZ cameras, recording system, professional displays, audio reinforcement, network infrastructure, and associated AV peripherals.

The project also included integration with the existing CCTV and audio network, development of control logic, engineering drawings, mounting structure design, power budgeting, system configuration, acceptance testing, operator training, and submission of as-built documentation. All mounting hardware, accessories, cables, connectors, and interface components required for a complete and fully functional installation were supplied as part of the project.

The delivered solution unified microphone management, camera tracking, content display, recording, and centralized control into a single intuitive platform, providing a reliable, scalable, and future-ready AV system capable of supporting mission-critical media briefings and multi-purpose events at the SHAR Media Centre.

What key challenges were faced?

The project presented both technical and structural challenges. The specified Q-SYS Core 610, QIO-ML4i, and Sennheiser conference system natively supported only Push-to-Talk operation, whereas the client also required Request-to-Speak functionality with moderator approval. As the purchase order had already been finalized and all equipment delivered, changing the hardware was not an option.

A second challenge was the installation of the 8.4 m × 3.03 m LED video wall. The customer-provided mounting structure was not designed to safely support the display, requiring an alternative installation approach while maintaining structural stability, precise alignment, and a seamless viewing surface.
The project also required the integration of 160 delegate microphones, PTZ cameras with automatic speaker tracking, LED video wall content, recording, and centralized AV control into a single intuitive platform. Achieving reliable synchronization between all subsystems while ensuring smooth operation during high-profile ISRO media briefings demanded extensive engineering, programming, and system integration expertise.

How were those challenges resolved?

Our engineering team developed a custom software-driven solution that fulfilled all client requirements without replacing the specified hardware. Advanced Q-SYS control programming was created to implement both Push-to-Talk and Request-to-Speak conference modes, complete with moderator approval, speaker queue management, automatic PTZ camera tracking, meeting recording, and centralized control through the Q-SYS Touch Panel and PC.

To address the structural challenge, we designed and engineered a reinforced mounting solution for the 8.4 m × 3.03 m LED video wall, ensuring safe load distribution, precise alignment, and a seamless display while utilizing the existing site infrastructure. This approach minimized cost and avoided major civil modifications.

The solution integrated 160 delegate microphones, chairman and podium microphones, wireless microphones, PTZ cameras, LED video wall, recording system, and audio reinforcement into a single intuitive platform. Through intelligent programming and system integration, the project delivered a reliable, scalable, and user-friendly AV solution that exceeded the functional capabilities of the specified hardware while meeting the demanding operational requirements of the SHAR Media Centre.

How has your work helped the client?

The delivered solution transformed the SHAR Media Centre into an intelligent, centralized communication platform capable of supporting high-profile ISRO media briefings with greater efficiency and reliability. The custom Q-SYS programming enabled both Push-to-Talk and Request-to-Speak functionality without requiring additional hardware, maximizing the value of the client’s existing investment while delivering the desired user experience.

Centralized control of microphones, PTZ cameras, the LED video wall, recording, and AV devices simplified system operation, reduced operator workload, and enabled seamless management of live press conferences. Automatic camera tracking ensured speakers were accurately captured and displayed, enhancing the viewing experience for both the audience and broadcast media.

The engineered LED video wall mounting solution provided a safe, stable, and visually seamless installation without major structural modifications, reducing implementation costs and project risk. The resulting platform is reliable, intuitive, and scalable, enabling the SHAR Media Centre to confidently support rocket launch briefings, technical presentations, training sessions, and future operational requirements with minimal intervention and maximum system availability.

What are you most proud of about the project?

What makes this project truly rewarding is our ability to transform a hardware limitation into an engineering innovation. Instead of changing the approved equipment or increasing project costs, our team developed custom Q-SYS programming that successfully delivered both Push-to-Talk and Request-to-Speak functionality—capabilities beyond the native support of the specified hardware.

We are equally proud of overcoming the LED video wall installation challenge by engineering a practical mounting solution that ensured structural stability, precise alignment, and a seamless visual finish while utilizing the existing infrastructure.

Above all, this project demonstrates that innovative engineering can unlock greater value from existing technology. Through intelligent programming, seamless system integration, and collaborative problem-solving, we delivered a reliable, intuitive, and future-ready AV platform that fully met the client’s operational requirements. The appreciation received from the SHAR and ISRO teams for achieving the desired functionality without additional hardware or cost remains our greatest source of pride and reflects our commitment to engineering excellence.

Project Overview

The high-profile integration project delivers a state-of-the-art multi-zone AV infrastructure for the Chief Minister Secretariat in Nava Raipur Atal Nagar, Chhattisgarh, executed for the Public Works Department (E/M Division). This is the first paper less CM Secretariat in India with Televic Multimedia Audio Conferencing Solution.

The project covers three distinct spaces:

State Cabinet Conference Hall: Powered by an enterprise Televic Multimedia Conference System featuring a fully digital central controller, gooseneck chairman and delegate units, and advanced DSP for secure state summits.

State Media & Presentation Zone: Integrated a high-definition 4K Laser projector, acoustically woven projection screen, and multi-channel audio distribution system designed for official briefings and executive presentations.

Recording Studio & Media Setup: Equipped with an 8-channel NDI production switcher, digital mixer, Teleprompter for live streaming and broadcasting.

What did the client want to achieve?

The client—Public Works Department (E/M Division), Raipur—aimed to establish a world-class AV infrastructure for the newly constructed Chief Minister’s Residence & Secretariat in Nava Raipur. The primary objective was to build India’s first paperless CM Secretariat across three specialized functional zones:

State Cabinet Conference Hall: Deploy an enterprise Televic Multimedia Conference System with digital chairman and delegate units, camera tracking, and encrypted signal processing for secure, crystal-clear state cabinet meetings.

State Media & Presentation Zone: Build a high-impact presentation environment featuring a 4K Laser projector, acoustically Woven projection screen, and multi-channel audio distribution for official briefings.

Recording Studio & Media Setup: Create a broadcast-grade production facility capable of multi-channel live streaming, media press distribution via a dedicated Press Patch Bay, and studio audio capture for official state announcements.

Scope of work your company was involved in

SI executed complete end-to-end Supply, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning (SITC) services across three primary technical spaces at the Chief Minister’s Residence & Secretariat:

State Cabinet Conference Hall: Deployed an enterprise Televic Multimedia Conference System featuring a fully digital central controller, 1 chairman unit, and 16 delegate units. Integrated audio signal processing with a 10×6 DSP (equipped with AEC and feedback suppression), 8×8 4K/60 matrix switching, HDBaseT extenders, 10x optical zoom PTZ cameras with control system.

State Media & Presentation Zone: Installed a high-definition BenQ True 4K Laser projector, a 215” acoustically woven fixed-frame screen, and high-fidelity point-source audio system.

Recording Studio & Media Setup: Configured an 8-channel NDI Live Production switcher, a digital audio mixer, studio goosenecks, a teleprompter, and a broadcast-grade Audio Press Patch Bay for seamless media signal distribution.

What key challenges were faced?

Executing a comprehensive AV infrastructure within a strict, non-negotiable completion timeline presented significant operational challenges. Harmonizing three distinct technical environments—the State Cabinet Conference Hall, State Media & Presentation Zone, and Recording Studio—within a high-security state facility required rapid, parallel execution across all teams.

Ensuring zero signal crosstalk, latency, or acoustic feedback across long Cat6 and HDBaseT cabling runs while routing uncompressed 4K video alongside Televic multimedia conference audio required meticulous signal management. Furthermore, integrating complex control protocols (RS-232, IP, NDI, IR, Relays, and HDBaseT) into a single, user-friendly iPad touch interface for non-technical staff demanded swift & custom programming.

Operating on an active construction site further complicated delivery due to severe power fluctuations and environmental dust. To overcome these constraints within the accelerated schedule, sealed sensitive equipment racks early, and synchronized final acoustic calibration alongside ongoing site finishing works to achieve flawless commissioning on time.

How were those challenges resolved?

To address multi-zone integration within a tight project timeline, we implemented isolated signal routing and deployed high-performance DSPs with (AEC) and automatic feedback suppression. This guaranteed crystal-clear, feedback-free audio for the Televic conference setup and media feeds without inter-zone interference.

Signal degradation across extended cabling distances was mitigated by deploying HDBaseT transmitters/receivers alongside fully shielded Cat6 cabling, maintaining uncompressed 4K video resolution and zero-latency distribution.

To overcome control complexity, we custom-programmed an intuitive iPad touch interface that unifies RS-232, IP, NDI, IR, and relay protocols into single-tap scene presets for effortless operation by non-technical staff.

Finally, active construction hazards were resolved by deploying dedicated UPS for the site against power surges, keeping equipment racks sealed against dust, and scheduling final acoustic tuning during off-peak hours after site dust and electrical works had stabilized.

How has your work helped the client?

Our integrated AV deployment equips the Chief Minister’s Secretariat with a world-class, future-proof communications infrastructure.

In the State Cabinet Conference Hall, the Televic multimedia setup guarantees crystal-clear, secure, and feedback-free executive deliberations, fully enabling India’s first paperless CM Secretariat operations.

In the State Media & Presentation Zone, high-brightness 4K Video wall paired with acoustically transparent audio delivery provides state leadership with clear visual impact for critical executive briefings and strategy sessions.

In the Recording Studio, the 8-channel NDI production setup and integrated Press Patch Bay give the client in-house live streaming capabilities and instant direct audio feeds for broadcast media, eliminating temporary cabling clutter.

Finally, centralized control eliminates operational friction, allowing non-technical residence staff to manage multi-zone video routing, audio levels, and scene presets with single-tap ease for maximum daily efficiency.

What are you most proud of about the project?

We have successfully delivered a zero-compromise, multi-discipline AV ecosystem for a high-security state landmark. Seamlessly integrating three distinct functional environments—an executive digital conference hall powered by Televic for India’s first paperless CM Secretariat, a high-impact 4K media presentation zone, and a broadcast-ready recording studio setup—under a single, unified control framework of Extron stands as a major engineering milestone. Achieving pristine, zero-latency audio and uncompressed 4K video distribution despite severe construction site challenges and tight timelines highlights our team’s technical execution. Ultimately, empowering state leadership with an intuitive, reliable, and world-class communications hub for critical government functions gives us immense satisfaction.

Project Overview

The project involved the SITC of an advanced Boardroom and Conference Room solution for the New Admin Building of the NOIDA Sector-96, Noida. Designed to support high-level administrative meetings and hybrid collaboration, the solution transformed conventional meeting spaces into intelligent, technology-enabled environments with seamless audiovisual communication. The deployment integrated a comprehensive ecosystem of enterprise-grade technologies, including a 108-inch COB LED display, professional 4K displays, digital conference systems, AI-enabled multi-camera speaker tracking, professional PTZ cameras, enterprise video conferencing codecs, wireless presentation systems, digital signal processors, Dante-enabled audio networking, AV-over-IP distribution, centralized control systems, premium audio reinforcement, structured networking, and acoustic treatment. These components were engineered to operate as a unified platform, delivering crystal-clear audio, ultra-high-definition video, low-latency signal transmission, and intuitive user control. In addition to system integration, the project included structured cabling, equipment racks, acoustic ceiling and wall treatments, comprehensive testing, commissioning, and a three-year onsite warranty with operational support.

What did the client want to achieve?

The client wanted to create a modern, intelligent Board Room and Conference Room that would support high-level government meetings, hybrid collaboration, and seamless communication. The vision was to integrate advanced conferencing, AI-based camera tracking, AV-over-IP distribution, wireless presentation, centralized control, premium audio, and ultra-HD displays into a single unified platform. The solution needed to be secure, scalable, easy to operate, and capable of supporting future technology upgrades while delivering exceptional audio-visual performance, operational reliability, and an enhanced user experience for executive meetings and collaborative decision-making.

Scope of work your company was involved in

The project involved delivering a fully integrated, enterprise-grade collaboration environment by seamlessly combining professional audiovisual, conferencing, networking, automation, and acoustic solutions into a unified platform. The scope included deployment of large-format LED displays and professional 4K displays, AV-over-IP signal distribution, Digital conference systems, AI-enabled multi-camera speaker tracking, PTZ cameras, wireless presentation systems, video conferencing infrastructure, Dante-enabled digital audio processing, professional sound reinforcement, centralized AV control and room automation, structured cabling, networking infrastructure, acoustic treatment, equipment racks, system programming, user training, comprehensive testing and commissioning, and three years of on-site warranty and operational support. The entire solution was engineered to deliver reliable, intuitive, and future-ready meeting experiences while ensuring interoperability, scalability, and ease of operation.

What key challenges were faced?

The biggest challenge was executing the project after the building and interiors had already been completed, with no provisions for AV cabling or conduits. We had to install the entire AV infrastructure without affecting the finished aesthetics. The rooms also had low ceiling heights, limited installation space, and significant sound reflections due to inadequate acoustic treatment, making it difficult to achieve clear audio. Additionally, integrating multiple OEM technologies into one seamless platform required careful engineering, extensive testing, and precise system tuning to ensure reliable performance and an intuitive user experience.

How were those challenges resolved?

We overcame these challenges through detailed planning, innovative installation methods, and close coordination with the client and other stakeholders. AV cabling was carefully routed without disturbing the completed interiors, preserving the overall aesthetics of the space. To address the room’s acoustic challenges, we proposed the installation of floor carpeting along with enhanced acoustic treatment to reduce sound reflections and improve speech intelligibility. We also optimized the placement of microphones and speakers and fine-tuned the DSP to deliver clear, natural audio. Finally, extensive programming, integration, and testing ensured seamless interoperability between multiple OEM technologies, resulting in a reliable, user-friendly, and future-ready collaboration environment.

How has your work helped the client?

Our solution has provided the client with a reliable and easy-to-use meeting environment. Meetings can now be conducted more efficiently with seamless conferencing, content sharing, and centralized control, reducing technical interruptions and improving collaboration.

What are you most proud of about the project?

We are proud to have delivered a world-class integrated boardroom for the NOIDA Authority. Seeing the facility inaugurated by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath was a proud moment for our entire team and a recognition of the quality and dedication behind the project.

Project Overview

The Naval Base Conference Hall is a fully integrated, state-of-the-art conferencing facility designed for high-level defence and government meetings. The solution features the Televic Confidea FLEX-MIC and CONFIDEAFDD-MIC digital conference system powered by the Plixus AE-R Dante engine, delivering secure, crystal-clear communication and reliable conference management. A total of 146 custom push-back chairs with integrated writing pads incorporate flush-mounted Televic conference microphones, ensuring an ergonomic and clutter-free seating arrangement. The visual system includes three Lumens 4K IP PTZ cameras with intelligent auto-tracking and auto-switching, a 190-inch diagonal LED wall on the stage, and confidence monitors for seamless presentations. A professionally engineered LD speaker system with subwoofers ensures uniform speech intelligibility throughout the hall. Custom acoustic treatment, premium interior finishes, and a bespoke podium with integrated digital signage complete the solution, delivering exceptional audio-visual performance, operational efficiency, and an elegant conference environment for mission-critical discussions and official events.

What did the client want to achieve?

The Indian Navy sought to create a unique, state-of-the-art conference hall that combined advanced technology with a premium aesthetic for high-level meetings and official discussions. A key requirement was to integrate conference microphones into the chair armrests instead of using conventional tabletop units, ensuring easier operation, improved ergonomics, and a clean, uncluttered appearance. To achieve this, custom-designed theatrical-style push-back chairs with integrated writing pads were manufactured to accommodate flush-mounted microphones. The client also requested a theatre-style stepped seating layout, allowing secure chair installation while providing improved sightlines and a modern auditorium-style environment. The overall objective was to deliver an elegant, highly functional, and user-friendly conference facility that reflects the Indian Navy’s standards of excellence and enhances the experience of delegates during mission-critical discussions and official events.

Scope of work your company was involved in

SI delivered a turnkey conference hall solution encompassing design, engineering, supply, installation, integration, testing, commissioning, and training. The scope included requirement analysis, system architecture design, preparation of the Bill of Materials (BOM) and Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and development of detailed tender specifications and technical compliance documents. Comprehensive AV, electrical, network, rack layout, and cable routing drawings were prepared along with 3D interior, acoustic, and seating designs. Q Live supplied and integrated the complete conference, audio, video, control, and electrical infrastructure into a unified, fully automated, interoperable, and cyber-secure AV platform. The project also included preparation of as-built documentation, operation and maintenance manuals, user training, and post-commissioning support, ensuring high availability, operational reliability, scalability, lifecycle support, and long-term maintainability in accordance with defence standards.

What key challenges were faced?

The project was executed within a high-security Naval Base environment, presenting several operational and logistical challenges. Access control procedures for personnel, materials, and equipment required strict entry and exit permissions, which demanded meticulous planning and coordination. Additionally, work was restricted to daytime hours, as night work was not permitted, limiting the available execution window.

Although the work order specified a project duration of four months, the client requested completion within three months to accommodate pre-scheduled seminars and official events. Through effective project planning, resource optimization, and close coordination with all stakeholders, Q Live Technologies successfully completed and commissioned the project within the revised timeline.

Another significant challenge was the development of custom-designed conference chairs with integrated writing pads and flush-mounted Televic conference microphones. As no existing chair design met the project requirements, the chairs had to be engineered and manufactured from the ground up, requiring extensive design coordination, prototyping, and precision fabrication while maintaining the accelerated project schedule.

How were those challenges resolved?

SI adopted a proactive project management approach to overcome the execution challenges. Detailed work planning and close coordination with Naval authorities enabled timely processing of personnel and material entry permissions, minimizing delays associated with security protocols. Since work was restricted to daytime hours, daily activities were meticulously scheduled, and resources were deployed efficiently to maximize productivity within the permitted working period.

To achieve the revised three-month completion target, procurement, fabrication, installation, and testing activities were executed in parallel wherever feasible. Continuous progress monitoring and effective coordination among the project team, OEMs, and vendors ensured timely delivery of materials and adherence to the accelerated schedule.

For the custom conference chairs,SI collaborated closely with the chair manufacturer to develop a completely new design incorporating integrated writing pads and flush-mounted conference microphones. Multiple design reviews, prototype evaluations, and quality inspections ensured that the chairs met the functional, ergonomic, and aesthetic requirements without compromising the project timeline.

How has your work helped the client?

SI delivered a modern, fully integrated conference facility that significantly enhanced the Naval Base’s capability to conduct high-level meetings, strategic briefings, seminars, and video conferences. The automated AV and conferencing system improved operational efficiency by reducing manual intervention while ensuring reliable, high-quality communication.

Despite the contractual project duration of four months, the facility was successfully completed within the client’s requested three-month timeline, enabling the Naval Base to conduct its pre-planned seminars and official events without disruption.

The custom-designed seating, advanced acoustic treatment, and premium audio system provided superior speech intelligibility and user comfort, while the intelligent camera automation enhanced meeting documentation and remote collaboration. The scalable, interoperable, and cyber-secure AV infrastructure ensures long-term reliability, simplified maintenance, and readiness for future technology upgrades, delivering a sustainable, mission-ready conference environment aligned with defence operational requirements.

What are you most proud of about the project?

We are most proud of delivering a mission-critical conference facility that exceeded the client’s expectations despite stringent security protocols, restricted working hours, and an accelerated project schedule. Although the contract allowed four months for completion, we successfully delivered the entire project within the client’s requested three-month timeframe, enabling the Naval Base to conduct its pre-planned seminars and official events without delay.

A key achievement was the successful design and manufacture of 146 custom conference chairs with integrated writing pads and flush-mounted Televic conference microphones, developed specifically to meet the Navy’s functional and aesthetic requirements.

Following project completion, the Commanders and Lieutenant Commanders highly appreciated the conference hall’s aesthetics, exceptional audio quality, seamless functionality, and overall user experience. Their positive feedback and satisfaction with the project resulted in additional enquiries and referrals for similar defence infrastructure projects, reflecting the confidence placed in SI’s ability to deliver high-quality, mission-ready AV solutions.

Project Overview

• Executed the complete AV, conferencing and control system integration for the new Raipur Vidhan Sabha building, covering the Auditorium, the Sadan (main assembly hall) and the Meeting Rooms.
• Deployed 8 x 105-inch Samsung displays and 7 x Planar LED video walls across the Auditorium and Sadan.
• Installed 13 x 86-inch Samsung displays and 11 x seamless presentation switchers in the Meeting Rooms.
• Positioned 14 Sony PTZ cameras for live coverage and recording.
• Installed well over 400 speakers of different types across the three areas, driven by Extron, Bosch and Dynacord processing and amplification.
• Delivered the Bosch DICENTIS/DCN conferencing and voting system, providing around 360 delegate and chairman positions — 109 in the Sadan and 251 across the Meeting Rooms (117 flush-mounted plus 134 CCSD1000 units).
• Enabled 32-channel language interpretation, synoptic microphone control and automatic camera tracking.
• Unified control of displays, audio and camera presets through a single Kramer-based touch-panel control layer.
• Used EN54-certified speakers wherever public-address and life-safety rules applied.

What did the client want to achieve?

• Run parliamentary proceedings without interruption.
• A new, latest-technology conferencing facility with high-end active LED displays.
• Ensure reliable electronic voting.
• Provide clear multi-language interpretation for delegates.
• Deliver camera-tracked recording of proceedings.
• Present a modern, presentable look for the new assembly building to delegates, staff and visitors.
• Meet EN54 life-safety certification requirements for sound reinforcement equipment, as expected in a public building.
• Keep day-to-day operation simple enough for Vidhan Sabha staff to manage without specialist AV knowledge.

Scope of work your company was involved in

• Delivered supply, installation, testing and commissioning of AV, conferencing and control systems across three areas of the building.
• Auditorium: video displays, PTZ cameras, sound reinforcement (wall and ceiling speakers through amplifiers and mixing console), plus associated cabling and racks.
• Sadan: full Bosch digital conferencing and voting installation — 109 delegate and chairman units, central control units, interpretation consoles and headphones.
• Sadan: also included video walls, network switches and the touch-panel control system.
• Meeting Rooms: same conferencing approach repeated using a mix of flush-mounted and CCSD1000 discussion units across multiple rooms.
• Meeting Rooms: matching displays, switchers and amplification.
• Structured cabling (HD-SDI, HDMI, USB, CAT6 and multicore conference cable) and rack infrastructure supporting all of the above.

What key challenges were faced?

• Unifying two different Bosch product families — flush-mounted DICENTIS units (Sadan and some Meeting Rooms) and CCSD1000 discussion units (other Meeting Rooms) — into one consistent conferencing experience.
• Routing both product families to a common set of central control units so operators only had to learn one workflow.
• Managing cable runs between equipment racks and delegate desks, cameras and displays that stretched well beyond standard HDMI or USB capability; the camera backbone alone ran to around 700 metres of HD-SDI cable.
• Operating in a demanding RF environment with dozens of wireless microphones and interpretation channels running side by side, where any dropout during a live sitting would be highly visible.
• Absorbing a mid-project change of the wireless handheld and lapel microphone system without slipping the schedule.
• Sourcing speakers that satisfied mandatory EN54 life-safety certification while still giving clear, broadcast-quality speech reproduction elsewhere — no single speaker choice could be used everywhere.

How were those challenges resolved?

• Gave the Sadan and the Meeting Rooms their own set of Bosch DCNM-APS2 central control units feeding the same DCNM-FBD2 interface backbone, so the operator interface behaved the same regardless of room or unit type.
• Solved the long-distance signal problem by extending HDMI over HDBaseT with 72 pairs of Kramer transmitters and receivers.
• Kept camera video on a dedicated HD-SDI backbone into a Blackmagic video matrix rather than stretching standard cabling beyond its design limits.
• Improved RF reliability by pairing wireless microphone systems with directional antennas and antenna splitters for even coverage across the building.
• Absorbed the mid-project microphone change by procuring the replacement Bosch wireless handheld and lavalier sets as an additional item against the original supply list, avoiding delays.
• Used EN54-certified Bosch speakers specifically where fire and life-safety compliance was mandatory, and commercial-grade Electro-Voice speakers elsewhere for the extra intelligibility a large public hall needs.

How has your work helped the client?

• Gave the Vidhan Sabha a single, unified system to run its proceedings — voting, interpretation and camera-tracked recording work together instead of as separate systems requiring manual coordination.
• Delivered an installation that is fully commissioned and in day-to-day use for assembly proceedings.
• Provided delegates and visitors a noticeably more modern visual experience across the Auditorium, Sadan and Meeting Rooms compared with the previous setup.

What are you most proud of about the project?

• The scale of the conferencing deployment: 109 delegate and chairman positions in the Sadan alone.
• A further 117 flush-mounted and 134 CCSD1000 units spread across the Meeting Rooms, all running on the same Bosch DICENTIS/DCN platform.
• Delivering 32-channel interpretation and automatic voting across the full deployment.
• Bringing together large-scale delegate hardware with EN54-certified audio, PTZ camera tracking and a single Kramer control layer.
• Achieving all of this without compromising the operational demands of a live legislature.
