PROJECT OVERVIEW
ITPO has been at the forefront of promoting trade and commerce in India. Operating under the ministry of commerce & Industry, Government of India. This have been redeveloped and renovated into Exhibition Hall & Convention Centre.
There are 7 nos. world class exhibition Hall and 1 nos. convention Centre known as “Bharat Mandapam” where G20 Summit have been held.
Catering to various scales of gatherings, our AV systems have been calibrated for the following
areas:-
• 50/ 100/200 seater meeting rooms- 17 Nos
• Premium Meeting Room (PMR)- 1 Nos
• Bilateral Meeting Room (BMR)- 2 Nos
• 600 and 900 Pax Auditorium- 1 Nos each
• G20 Summit Hall- 1 Nos
• Leaders Lounge – 1 Nos
• 16 channel Interpretation room
• 3000-seater Plenary Hall, the 4000-seater MPH Hall (which can be combined to
accommodate up to 7000 individuals) – 1 Nos
• Grand 3000-seater Amphitheatre- 1 Nos
• Centralized Background Music (BGM) system and Digital Signage System
• Waiting /Guest lounge/VIP Lounge- 7 Nos
• 7 Nos Exhibition Halls
What did the client want to achieve?
The installation of a world-class AV system blends global and local expertise, offering several benefits:
Top-Notch Sound: High-quality sound systems in all areas ensure superior audio.
Seamless AV Transitions: Effortless switching between AV components streamlines operations.
Robust Digital Integration: A high-end digital backend system unifies all AV products for enhanced functionality.
Vibrant LED Walls: Motorized fine-pixel pitch LED walls provide clarity and dynamic content throughout.
Communication Excellence: Digital conference and interpretation systems enable effective international communication, such as during the G20 Summit.
Crystal-Clear Video: High-res network cameras support broadcasting, recording, and video conferencing.

Engaging Wayfinding: Digital kiosks offer real-time information and improved navigation.
Centralized Management: A monitoring system efficiently oversees the entire AV setup, enhancing functionality and user experience, a valuable asset for the client.
Scope of work your company was involved in
At the ITPO facility, we’ve seamlessly integrated a wide array of advanced AV solutions, including centralized PA/BGM and fire evacuation systems, digital signage, touch-based control systems, audio systems, digital microphones, mixers, conference, and interpretation systems, LED video walls, projection systems, video conferencing, kiosks, broadcasting, wireless presentation, 4K cameras, and centralized network monitoring. These solutions elevate functionality and deliver unparalleled audio-visual experiences across diverse spaces and purposes.
What key challenges were faced?
– As it was Vast site with various levels, Rooms – Site coordination with the EPC team, PMC and Consultant/Architects and various other vendors
– Installation of Motorised LED video Wall Movement Facility at approx. 14 Mtr Height
Hall
– Redundancy of Conference system and Interpretation in G20 Summit hall
– 16 channel Interpretation system was also challenging as interpretation room was situated at Level 5 and G20 Summit Hall was at Level 2
– Configuration and control of AV system on Centralised IT Network
How were those challenges resolved?
Our project’s success was the result of collaborative teamwork and relentless dedication. With the support of consultants, OEMs, PMC, EPC partners, and the client, we overcame challenges and met stringent timelines.
Over 60 team members worked tirelessly, coordinating with on-site teams and vendors to ensure seamless project execution. Installing LED systems at a 14-meter height demanded careful planning, including scissor lifts and rigorous safety protocols in collaboration with the civil team.
Redundancy was a core design element, guaranteeing system reliability. PTZ cameras automatically tracked active conference microphones, and dual microphones for delegates were integrated for seamless operation.
We implemented the system over the Dante platform for audio and AV over IP for video to ensure signal integrity and smooth functionality. Coordination with the IT network team resulted in multiple VLANs, optimizing AV system performance and network functionality for various protocols and topologies.
This collaborative and detail-oriented approach was instrumental in the successful implementation of a complex AV system.
How has your work helped the client?
By installing such State of Art AV system, we were able to successfully conclude the G20 Summit event in India and showed
the real strength and Power of India.
– Seamlessly host events with international attendees, ensuring that language is not a barrier to effective communication and understanding.
– The client can monitor complete AV system from anywhere on the premises and get real time status of the functionality of the system.
– AV work installed in Exbhition halls, is attracting various exbhitions and client is able to rent out the Halls to companies and earn rental revenues from the same.
– During an Emergency, the client can announce from anywhere in the building , for smooth evacuation of people. An Emergency pre-recorded message shall play.
– As the Building shall hosts various VVIP Events, we have provided the client with Broadcasting system, hence we can send an AV signal from 1 room to any other room.
– Also, for OB vans, permanent cables have been laid so that there is no need of cable laying in each events.
– Latest technology AV system is been equipped in all meeting rooms for various VIPmeetings and VC meetings with dignatories across the Globe.
– User friendly and Easy operation of the AV system.
What are you most proud of in relation to the project?
As this is India’s biggest AV integration project with all the latest technology and the venue where a
successful G20 Summit held. In this way we have shown to whole world that India is ready for all the futuristic technology.
