PROJECT OVERVIEW
Swadesh is an upcoming chain of Retail stores to promote authentic handcrafted products and rich Indian art forms globally . Swadesh will showcase artisanal products, including agriculture and food items, handloom, clothing, textiles, handicrafts and handmade natural products which are Made in India.
Our scope encompasses the design and implementation of advanced audiovisual systems, including Conference Room, Theatre Room, Background Music (BGM), and a Public Address (PA) System throughout all floors.
Conference Room: These rooms are designed to facilitate efficient and impactful meeting, presentations to prospective Corporate clients and Internal meetings.
AV/Theatre Room: The room is equipped with a 5.1 Surround sound and Video Projection system that could showcase movies and reels on how the products on display are being manufactured and enhance the Make in India movement.
PA-BGM System: The project features a carefully designed Background Music (BGM) system with Multiple zones that not just enhances the ambiance of all the areas but also make general and emergency announcements.
What did the client want to achieve?
The client’s primary objective from Audio visual solution was to provide excellent quality Audio and visual in all common areas, a sturdy and simple to use PA system and seamless Video Conferencing and presentation solution in the Conference room.
Scope of work your company was involved in
Our scope was comprised of detailed system design for PA System & BGM for common areas, AV for Theatre room and Conference room. Detailed drawings, 3D Audio Simulations, Equipment selection, coordination with the PMC, Complete installation, Control system programming, Comprehensive testing, staff training, and ongoing maintenance is also a part of our scope.
What key challenges were faced?
It is remarkable that our team executed the project with such smoothness that there were relatively few significant challenges.
One Challenge we faced was to select the Location of speakers such that it synchronizes aesthetically with other services in the ceiling without compromising on the uniform distribution of sound. Another challenge we did encounter revolved around the need for customized colouring of ceiling speakers to seamlessly blend with the respective ceiling colours. In this case, the client’s requirement for a harmonious aesthetic demanded a unique solution. Our challenge was to ensure that the installed speakers not only met the highest audio performance standards but also seamlessly integrated into the facility’s design, maintaining the visual appeal of each room.
How were those challenges resolved?
To address the challenge of the speaker positioning, we had meeting with the architect and explained them the importance of uniform sound distribution and the effect of changing the speaker position via 3D Audio simulation , also how uniform distribution will enhance the customer experience and what effect it would have if we change the speaker locations. Architect was kind enough to accommodate our suggestions.
To address the second challenge of colouring the speakers, our team collaborated closely with the client to determine the exact RAL colours across various spaces within the facility. We then engaged with a specialised vendor to select the right type of paint and made a sample first to get approval from client. Challenging task was to ensure that paint doesn’t block the holes in the speaker grill.
