The Gandhi Darshan Museum is divided into five distinct sections:

• Azaadi ki Aahat – The Knock of Freedom

• Gandhi: Janmakatha – Gandhi: Story of his Life

• Basement – Covering a vast expanse of 2970 square meters
• Lower Ground Floor – Encompassing an extensive area of 3315 square meters
• Ground Floor – Enriching the space with 1668 square meters of exhibition area.
What did the client want to achieve?
The client’s vision is nothing short of noble aspiration to weave the intricate tapestry of Mahatma Gandhi’s formidable struggles within the epic narrative of India’s arduous quest for independence. This endeavour seeks to illuminate the annals of history through the prism of interactive visuals and tangible objects invoking an immersive odyssey through time.
The aspiration is to metamorphose the muesum into a crucible of enlightenment where visitors are not merely spectators but active participants in the experiential journey of comprehending the profound tribulations borne by Mahatma Gandhi in his relentless pursuit of liberty. It is an invitation to submerge oneself wholly into the crucible of history, to don the mantle of empathy and walk in the hallowed footsteps of the Mahatma.
This is a sanctuary of enlightenment where the struggles of Mahatma Gandhi are not confined to the annals of antiquity but spring forth vivaciously allowing each visitor to glean invaluable insights imbibing the essence of perseverance and fortitude that defined an era.
Here history becomes a living breathing testament brought to life through the interplay of visual artistry and tangible artifacts.
Scope of work your company was involved in
This project has wall projections where visual narratives would unfurl casting their spellbinding tales upon the surfaces of various enclosures. Projection mapping was employed to choreograph mesmerizing visual displays, rendering even mundane objects as canvases for the interplay of light and imagery. Venturing beyond the confines of walls the terrain extended to the very ground beneath our feet where floor projections served as an enchanting medium to transmute mere pathways into dynamic realms where one could tread amidst a realm of captivating visuals. Here the audio was orchestrated with finesse culminating in multi-area audio output a harmonious symphony that enveloped the audience in a symphonic embrace. There was the virtuosic deployment of video-wall technology, where a mosaic of screens seamlessly coalesced into a tapestry of moving images. Adding to this symphony, object recognition technology was deftly incorporated imbuing the entire system with the capability to perceive and respond to the environment creating an immersive and interactive experience. SOW represented a magnum opus, a veritable opulent tapestry woven from the threads of artistry, technology, and innovation, destined to transport audiences into realms of unparalleled visual and auditory splendour.
What key challenges were faced?
Within the intricate tapestry of AV endeavours, formidable challenges emerged, each bearing the weight of complexity and urgency. These challenges were testing the mettle of the project’s execution. Among these were the vexing conundrums surrounding the delivery lead times for AV equipment. The ceaseless march of time, intricately interwoven with other domains such as Civil and HVAC, imposed a relentless cadence upon installation efforts, necessitating a synchronized ballet of precision and efficiency. Compounding this complexity were the Specters of DOA products, a disheartening phenomenon that cast a spell of uncertainty over the entire endeavour. The capriciousness of fate, in the form of equipment arriving in an inoperative state, added an unforeseen layer of complexity to the already intricate puzzle of AV deployment. The site itself, often a canvas for creativity and innovation, sometimes became a canvas of frustration due to its unavailability. The paradox of an unattainable canvas stifled progress and necessitated a dance of rescheduling and recalibration. These challenges, akin to tempestuous tempos within a symphony, demanded deft orchestration and unwavering resolve to harmonize the discordant notes and transform them into a symphony of success.
How were those challenges resolved?
These challenges catalysed innovative strategies and meticulous processes that set new benchmarks in project execution. First, we undertook strategic pre-procurement of goods from many corners of the globe, orchestrating a masterful symphony of global logistics. This not only circumvented the constraints of protracted delivery timelines but also ushered in an era of unparalleled efficiency. In a quest for perfection, we undertook the prudent practice of pre-emptive testing each component for any vestiges of vulnerability. This evaluation conducted prior to deployment, safeguarded against the lamentable spectre of DOA products ensuring that only the pinnacle of reliability graced the project’s doorstep. Further the deployment of off-site GUI programming and the assembly of racks served as a catalyst in accelerating project progress. Our ability to collaborative synergy with diverse domains, including Civil and HVAC, stands as a testament to our holistic approach. This cooperation eliminated potential discord, ensuring a seamless execution. AVID’s triumph over adversity shines as a paragon of ingenuity and foresight. AVID’s meticulous product testing, strategic off-site processes, and harmonious interdisciplinary cooperation, heralds a new era of project execution excellence.
How has your work helped the client?
AV Integration has been shaping the essence of the museum as we perceive it today. It has bestowed upon this museum a remarkable metamorphosis, catapulting it into a realm where history becomes a vibrant, living narrative. Projection mapping enables patrons to traverse the corridors of time firsthand. This technique unfurls the chronicles of history making timelines and pivotal instances tangible and immediate, inviting individuals to engage with the past on an unprecedented level.
Object recognition adds another layer of enchantment to the experience, granting visitors the ability to decipher and connect with the very objects and locales that once bore witness to legacy of Gandhiji. This wizardry breathes life into inert artifacts, offering a profound connection with the very essence of the Mahatma’s existence. Immersive video walls with embedded audio narratives serve as portals to bygone eras where visitors embark on journeys through time. These odysseys facilitate an intimate reenactment of the monumental struggles endured by Mahatma Gandhi and his compatriots in the pursuit of freedom.

What are you most proud of in relation to the project?
We have been to witness several moments that merit the label of proud achievements. Among these notable occurrences one pinnacle of pride and honor manifested when Shri. Rahul Gandhi graced the project’s inauguration with his presence. The subsequent invitation extended to our team for a luncheon served as a gracious acknowledgment of our dedication and prowess, forging a personal connection with our distinguished guest. In addition to this honor, we were further delighted to receive an invitation for dinner at the residence of the Chief Minister. This intimate gathering transcended professional boundaries, fostering bonds of camaraderie and cementing our position as valued collaborators. A source of immense pride resides in the remarkable achievements of our programming and installation team. Their unwavering commitment and meticulous coordination resulted in the successful completion of the project within the prescribed timelines, a feat that exemplifies our dedication to excellence.
