BUDGET: Between 1 crore INR and 4.99 crore INR (More than USD135,000 but less than USD540,000)

Project Overview
PepsiCo established a state-of-the-art Experience Centre on the 9th Floor of GAR Towers, Hyderabad, spanning approximately 630 sq. ft. SI was engaged to design, implement, integrate, test, and commission a complete Audio Visual solution for the space, built to showcase immersive digital experiences, AI-driven solutions, and innovation. The Experience Centre was structured into three dedicated zones, the Digital Experience & Immersive Centre, the AI Nerve Center, and the AI Solutions Zone, each equipped with large-format LED displays, AV-over-IP infrastructure, wireless presentation, and centralised iPad-based control. The complete project, from design coordination and procurement through installation, integration, programming, testing, commissioning, UAT, documentation, and handover, was delivered within 3 months.
What did the client want to achieve?
PepsiCo wanted to create a compact but high-impact Experience Centre capable of showcasing its digital transformation, AI capabilities, and innovation agenda to internal stakeholders, clients, and visitors. Within a footprint of just 630 sq. ft., the objective was to deliver three distinct, purpose-built zones, an immersive digital showcase, a dedicated AI Nerve Center, and an AI Solutions zone, each with large-format, high-resolution LED visuals capable of flexible multi-screen content layouts. The client sought a seamless, intuitive user experience, with wireless content sharing, iPad-based control for non-technical staff, and consistent audio coverage across all three zones. Given the space’s role as a flagship showcase, reliability, visual impact, and a fast turnaround were key priorities — the entire space needed to be conceptualised, built, and commissioned within a tight 3-month timeline.
Scope of work your company was involved in
SI was responsible for the end-to-end AV solution across all three zones of the Experience Centre — design, equipment specification, procurement, installation, systems integration, programming, testing, and commissioning. The Digital Experience & Immersive Centre featured a 196″ Xtreme Media LED display driven by a NovaStar LED controller and an Analog Way CALICO video processor for multi-screen layouts, with AV-over-IP distribution via Q-SYS NV-21-H encoders/decoders over a Netgear AV Line managed switch, BrightSign digital signage, Barco wireless presentation, and a Crestron CP4 control processor with iPad-based user control. QSC ceiling speakers, a QSC Core 110f DSP, and a QSC SPA 60 amplifier delivered zone audio. The AI Nerve Center and AI Solutions Zone were each equipped with a 108″ Xtreme Media LED display and an identical technology stack — NovaStar control, Analog Way CALICO processing, Q-SYS AV-over-IP, BrightSign signage, Barco wireless presentation, Crestron CP4 control with iPad interface, and QSC audio — ensuring a consistent, standardised experience across all three zones. SI coordinated closely with PMC Exotic Innovations throughout design, execution, and commissioning.
What key challenges were faced?
The project involved three distinct technical challenges, each resolved without impacting the overall delivery timeline. First, during commissioning, the existing network switch was found to lack sufficient Power over Ethernet (PoE) capacity for the Q-SYS NV-21-H AV-over-IP encoders and decoders, risking unreliable operation of the AV-over-IP infrastructure. Second, the originally specified iPad wall-mount charging dock had reached End of Life (EOL) and was incompatible with the client-supplied iPad model, creating a sourcing challenge for the control interface. Third, during execution, the client requested an additional HDMI Retractor for enhanced user convenience, a requirement outside the original scope of work that needed to be accommodated mid-project.
How were those challenges resolved?
The PoE limitation was resolved by replacing the existing network switch with a 90W PoE-enabled managed switch, ensuring stable, reliable power and data delivery to all AV-over-IP devices across the three zones. For the iPad dock compatibility issue, EYTE coordinated directly with the OEM and sourced a compatible charging dock from an alternate supplier, enabling successful integration of the control interface without any delay to the project schedule. The client’s HDMI Retractor request was accommodated by promptly supplying and installing the additional component, enhancing usability while maintaining project timelines. Throughout, close coordination with the Project Management Consultant, Exotic Innovations, ensured all three issues were resolved efficiently, and the complete project, from design through UAT and handover — was still delivered within the original 3-month timeline.
How has your work helped the client?
The completed Experience Centre gave PepsiCo a flagship, high-impact space to showcase its digital and AI innovation story to internal and external stakeholders. Each of the three zones Digital Experience & Immersive Centre, AI Nerve Center, and AI Solutions Zone now delivers consistent, high-resolution visual impact through large-format LED displays and flexible multi-screen layouts, backed by dependable AV-over-IP infrastructure and clear zone audio. Centralised iPad-based control makes the space simple to operate for non-technical staff, while wireless presentation enables effortless content sharing during demonstrations and stakeholder visits. By resolving infrastructure gaps proactively (PoE capacity) and accommodating a late scope addition (HDMI Retractor) without disrupting the schedule, SI ensured the client received a fully reliable, future-ready showcase space, delivered in just 3 months enabling PepsiCo to begin using the Experience Centre for stakeholder engagement without delay.
What are you most proud of about the project?
What stands out most is the ability to deliver a compact but technically sophisticated, three-zone Experience Centre, complete with large-format LED displays, AV-over-IP infrastructure, and centralised control, within a compressed 3-month timeline, while resolving three distinct challenges (PoE capacity, EOL hardware compatibility, and a mid-project scope addition) without any impact to the delivery date. The consistency achieved across all three zones, each built to the same reliable technology standard, reflects strong design discipline and execution control. Equally important was the responsiveness shown in accommodating the client’s HDMI Retractor request mid-project, turning a late change into an opportunity to further enhance user experience, rather than a source of delay. The successful, on-time handover of a flagship innovation showcase for a global brand like PepsiCo, achieved through close coordination with PMC Exotic Innovations, is a strong validation of SI’s execution capability.
