Mahabharat Anubhav Kendra at Jyotisar, Kurukshetra, is a landmark experiential museum curated by CS Direkt for Haryana Tourism on the sacred land where the Bhagavad Gita was revealed. Spread across a 17-acre campus with a built-up area of 10,000 sq. m., it transforms the Mahabharata into an immersive, technology-driven journey for visitors of all ages.Five interconnected galleries chronologically narrate the epic—from the composition of the Jaya Samhita and the Kuru lineage to the pre-war events, the eighteen-day battle, the aftermath, and the timeless philosophy of the Bhagavad Gita. The experience features 257 minutes of original 2D and 3D content, delivered through 125 projectors and 85 digital displays.Signature attractions include an AI-powered Ved Vyaas avatar, an interactive archery experience at Draupadi’s Swayamvar, a kinetic Bhishma Sharshayya, a 360-degree rotating battlefield theatre, projection mapping, holography, immersive dome experiences, layered dioramas, hyper-realistic mannequins and AI-driven interpretation. Created with specialists and artisans from across India, the museum sets a new benchmark for immersive heritage storytelling through the seamless integration of culture, technology and design.

What did the client want to achieve?

The Government of Haryana envisioned creating far more than a conventional museum—it sought to transform the timeless epic of the Mahabharata into a deeply immersive, emotionally engaging experience that would allow visitors to relive the era rather than simply learn about it.The objective was to bring every significant episode of the Mahabharata to life through contemporary storytelling, cutting-edge technology and multisensory experiences, enabling visitors to witness the epic as though they were present alongside its characters. Rather than presenting static artefacts and text panels, the museum was intended to evoke the emotions, dilemmas, philosophies and values that define the Mahabharata.The client also wanted to create a landmark cultural attraction at Jyotisar, the sacred birthplace of the Bhagavad Gita, enhancing its significance as a destination for pilgrims, students, families and tourists alike.

We undertook the complete concept-to-commissioning responsibility for the Mahabharat Anubhav Kendra at Jyotisar, Kurukshetra. The scope began with developing the overarching concept, research, visitor journey, curatorial storyline and detailed scripts, translating the Mahabharata into an engaging chronological experience. The building was strategically divided into interconnected galleries, thematic zones and transition spaces covering the origins of the epic, pre-war events, the eighteen-day battle, the post-war period and the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita.CS Direkt planned and designed every museum zone, including spatial layouts, exhibit placement, circulation, lighting intent, graphics and visitor interaction. The production scope included fabrication and installation of information panels, layered diorama sets, high-relief murals, thematic wallpapers, scenic environments, props, interactive exhibits and hyper-realistic mannequins.The company also created and integrated the complete digital experience, including 2D and 3D films, projection-mapped content, immersive dome and 360-degree presentations, holographic sequences, AI avatar interactions, kinetic installations and screen-based interpretation.

What key challenges were faced?

The Mahabharat Anubhav Kendra presented a unique challenge of transforming 23 acres of barren land, including a natural water body, into a world-class immersive museum campus that could do justice to one of the world’s greatest epics. One of the most demanding technical challenges was creating a seamless 360-degree dome experience, requiring ultra-high-resolution content and complex synchronization across an exceptionally large projection surface .Several galleries required the integration of kinetic installations with synchronized films, while others demanded a seamless blend of physical diorama sets and projected visuals. Beyond engineering, the greatest creative challenge was ensuring that technology never overshadowed the narrative. Every projection, animation, lighting cue and interactive element had to serve the story, allowing visitors to connect emotionally with the Mahabharata rather than being distracted by the technology itself. Operationally, the project also required the development of a robust Museum Management System capable of synchronizing audio, video, lighting and show control across five interconnected buildings with multiple immersive zones, ensuring a flawless and unified visitor experience throughout the campus.

How were those challenges resolved?

Every challenge was resolved through innovative engineering, meticulous planning and a story-first design philosophy. For the 360-degree dome theatre, conventional 16:9 content was re-engineered into an ultra-wide panoramic format, ensuring seamless projection, visual continuity and complete audience immersion. Where physical installations and digital media had to coexist, bespoke synchronized solutions were developed. In the Bhishma Sharshayya gallery, a kinetic installation of Bhishma and the moving bed of arrows was precisely synchronized with the film, enabling seamless interaction between the physical figure and projected visuals. Throughout the museum, technology was never treated as an attraction in itself; every projection, kinetic element and interactive installation was designed to deepen the storytelling and enhance the visitor’s emotional connection with the Mahabharata. To manage the complexity of five interconnected buildings and multiple immersive galleries, an advanced Museum Management System, developed with international expertise, enabled centralized monitoring and micro-management of audio, video, lighting and show-control systems, ensuring flawless synchronization and operational efficiency across the entire campus.

How has your work helped the client?

The Mahabharat Anubhav Museum has transformed Jyotisar from a revered pilgrimage site into a world-class cultural and experiential destination. While Jyotisar has always been sacred as the birthplace of the Bhagavad Gita, the museum now allows visitors to relive the Mahabharata through immersive storytelling and cutting-edge technology. The project has strengthened Haryana Tourism’s cultural offerings by creating a compelling reason to visit Kurukshetra, encouraging longer stays and benefiting the local tourism and hospitality economy. It has also generated direct and indirect employment, including opportunities for local residents in operations and visitor services. With weekend footfalls often reaching 600 visitors, the museum has attracted families, students and younger audiences who may not typically engage with traditional museums. Through projection mapping, immersive environments, interactive installations and innovative audio-visual experiences, it has made the epic accessible and engaging for new generations. For the Government of Haryana, the museum is a landmark example of heritage preservation through innovation.

What are you most proud of about the project?

We are immensely proud to have transformed one of India’s greatest epics into a living, immersive experience that brings together storytelling, craftsmanship and technology while remaining true to the spirit of the Mahabharata. Rather than relying on a single exhibit format, the museum offers a diverse range of experiences, including layered dioramas, murals, hyper-realistic mannequins, projection mapping, interactive installations, kinetic exhibits and specially created films. Many of these elements work together seamlessly, creating memorable moments such as Bhishma’s kinetic bed of arrows and the immersive 360-degree Kurukshetra war experience. We are equally proud that the museum resonates across generations—older visitors connect with its cultural and spiritual significance, while children and young audiences engage through its interactive, technology-led interpretation. With approximately 300 visitors on weekdays and 600 on weekends, the museum has established itself as a major cultural attraction. A defining moment was its inauguration by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, followed by his appreciation of the project on social media.

Project Overview

Our project, “Code of Light: A Digital Experience,” is a one-of-a-kind, technology-driven immersive exhibit created for Samiyo-2026, a grand social-religious event organised by the Swaminarayan Kalupur Gaadi to commemorate 200 years of the Shikshapatri. The experience center transformed spiritual storytelling into a large-scale experiential environment. The experience center combined multiple immersive technologies within a single narrative ecosystem to present the life, philosophy, and social contributions of Bhagwan Swaminarayan.

The experience center’s designed narrative unfolded as a connected journey where visitors moved through distinct immersive environments, each designed to communicate a different chapter of the narrative using the most appropriate visualization medium. The installation integrated projection-based experiences, holography, immersive LED environments, a humongous 14-meter dome, augmented reality, synchronized sensory effects, and custom kinetic installations into one cohesive visitor experience.

Code of Light demonstrates how advanced AV engineering, immersive technologies, and centralized systems integration present spiritual content while maintaining synchronized playback, operational stability, and a consistent audience experience.

What did the client want to achieve?

The client sought to create a landmark attraction that would present the teachings of Bhagwan Swaminarayan in a format capable of engaging contemporary audiences while preserving the dignity and authenticity of the spiritual subject.

The experience needed to appeal equally to devotees of different age groups, encouraging longer visitor engagement than traditional exhibitions while remaining emotionally meaningful rather than purely technological.

Operationally, the installation had to support uninterrupted public access throughout the event, manage large visitor throughput efficiently, and function reliably despite extended daily operating hours.

The client also required the solution to become a reference project demonstrating how immersive media could be meaningfully integrated into large religious gatherings without distracting from the spiritual purpose of the centre.

We were responsible for the end-to-end design, engineering, content, integration, and operation of the complete experience. The scope included master planning of the visitor journey, creative direction, scripting, content production, experience design, technical planning, architectural integration, multimedia programming, projection mapping, holographic implementation, immersive LED programming, dome installation and content creation, augmented reality integration, kinetic installation design, audio production, show-control programming, installation supervision, commissioning, operations, and technical management continuously.

The company developed a centralised multimedia ecosystem that synchronised independent display technologies, mechanical systems, audio playback, environmental effects, and interactive experiences into one coordinated operational workflow.

In addition to system integration, we designed audience circulation, optimised batch movement, established operational protocols, and supervised live show operations to ensure reliable performance.

What key challenges were faced?

The project demanded the simultaneous operation of numerous independent experiential systems, each with different playback formats, viewing geometries, brightness characteristics, synchronisation requirements, and operational constraints. Maintaining complete experiential continuity while visitors moved between environments required every transition to appear natural despite significant changes in display technology and physical space.

The integration of dynamic mechanical installations with projected imagery demanded positional accuracy requirements. One of the most unique challenges was the creation of a 14-meter dome, one of the largest dome installations in a religious setting; content calibration and development demanded thorough, spotless precision.

Operational planning presented an equally significant challenge. The installation needed to maintain continuous audience movement without congestion while ensuring every visitor experienced the complete narrative regardless of varying arrival patterns throughout the day.
Extended operating hours increased the importance of system reliability, thermal management, preventative maintenance, acoustic isolation, ambient light control, and rapid technical response to ensure uninterrupted operation.

How were those challenges resolved?

We approached the project as a unified systems integration exercise rather than a collection of independent installations. A centralised show-control architecture synchronised media playback, projection systems, display processors, audio systems, mechanical elements, sensory effects, and timing cues across the complete experience. This ensured that every environment operated as part of a single coordinated production.

Dedicated content pipelines were developed for each visualisation medium, allowing every experience to be optimised for its specific display characteristics while preserving visual continuity across the visitor journey.

Mechanical motion systems underwent repeated calibration and synchronisation with mapped visual content to maintain accurate registration throughout dynamic movement. Audience circulation was modelled in advance to optimise batch sizes, transition intervals, queue management, and overall throughput.

Operational redundancy, continuous monitoring, preventive maintenance schedules, and extensive on-site testing were incorporated into the deployment strategy, enabling the installation to maintain stable performance and synchronised operation.

How has your work helped the client?

The installation established a new benchmark for immersive engagement within a large-scale spiritual exhibit by demonstrating that advanced AV technologies can strengthen, rather than distract from, devotional storytelling. The integrated platform enabled the client to communicate complex philosophical concepts through experiential formats that remained accessible to visitors across generations while preserving cultural authenticity.

From an operational perspective, the project delivered a dependable solution capable of accommodating exceptionally high audience volumes with efficient visitor movement and consistent presentation quality.

The modular systems architecture also provides a foundation for future experiential developments, illustrating how multiple immersive technologies can be successfully deployed within large public gatherings while maintaining reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Rather than functioning as a conventional museum, the centre guides visitors through a carefully curated journey that explores natural resources, responsible consumption, waste segregation, recycling, municipal waste management systems, and sustainable urban living. Using immersive projection environments, LED walls, digital kiosks, interactive games, audio-visual storytelling, and experiential installations, the project simplifies complex environmental concepts into memorable experiences. The experience also celebrates the contribution of sanitation workers, showcases Moradabad’s environmental initiatives, and encourages visitors to become active participants in creating cleaner communities.

What did the client want to achieve?

The Moradabad Municipal Corporation sought to create a landmark public education centre that would increase environmental awareness and encourage responsible waste management practices among citizens. The objective was to move beyond conventional awareness campaigns by developing an engaging, technology-driven experience that could educate children, families, students, and the wider community in an accessible and memorable way.

Environmental issues such as waste segregation, recycling systems, pollution, and resource conservation are often perceived as complex or uninteresting, making it difficult to sustain visitor attention across diverse age groups.

Another challenge was presenting multiple themes—including environmental conservation, municipal waste processes, sustainability, sanitation workers, national initiatives, and citizen responsibility—within a single cohesive narrative without overwhelming visitors. Project Overview

AMB Cinemas’ Kapali Theatre in Bengaluru reimagines the multiplex lobby as a premium digital infotainment environment where the cinema experience begins before guests enter an auditorium. Across the second to sixth floors, AVID integrated custom fine-pitch LED canvases, portrait digital-poster displays and stretched-format signage into an opulent interior of marble, gold detailing, chandeliers and red velvet.

The installation includes portrait LED features, wide ribbon displays near auditorium entrances, escalator displays, compact lounge screens, Samsung stretched displays and 50-inch portrait displays for digital movie posters. A central signage platform, media players, network switches and dedicated AV racks support coordinated content playback across the venue.

Our scope included display engineering, structural and mounting coordination, equipment supply, installation, configuration, testing and coordination with architectural, electrical, data and signage teams. Each display was engineered for its location, weight, heat load, power, service access and installation clearance.

The result is a unified infotainment system supporting trailers, promotions, wayfinding and venue messaging while preserving the theatre’s distinctive interior design.

What did the client want to achieve?

AMB Cinemas wanted Kapali Theatre to create a memorable premium arrival experience rather than a conventional multiplex lobby dominated by static posters. The objective was to make every public journey, from arrival and escalator movement to concessions, waiting lounges and auditorium access, feel cinematic and visually connected.

Digital content had to become part of the architecture. Portrait LED canvases needed to resemble framed artworks, wide ribbons had to animate auditorium approaches, stretched displays had to integrate with counters and transition areas, and portrait screens had to form a flexible movie-poster gallery. All technology had to complement the marble, gold and velvet interiors.

The venue also required a centrally managed signage platform for trailers, promotions, announcements, wayfinding and brand content across multiple endpoints. Different screen sizes and aspect ratios had to remain easy to update, reliable during long operating hours and serviceable without damaging finished interiors.

The aim was to extend entertainment beyond the auditorium and give AMB Cinemas a reusable digital platform for future releases and campaigns.

Scope of work your company was involved in

We delivered the digital infotainment and signage integration for Kapali Theatre across the second, third, fifth and sixth floors. Our scope included engineering, equipment supply, structural and mounting coordination, installation, configuration, endpoint integration, testing and as-built documentation.
The solution comprised custom 1.8 mm fine-pitch LED canvases in portrait, landscape and ribbon formats; Samsung 37-inch stretched displays; 50-inch portrait displays; signage players; licences; an on-premise signage server; managed network switches; AV racks; HDMI connectivity; brackets, cabling and accessories.

We prepared floor plans and fabrication details for major LED locations, including cabinet layouts, niche dimensions, steel support structures, power consumption, heat dissipation, screen weight and service clearances. Locations included lobbies, escalator zones, auditorium entrances, back-office approaches and the sixth-floor lounge.

We coordinated display apertures, support frames, electrical provisions, data connectivity, ventilation and architectural finishes with site trades. After installation, we configured the signage infrastructure, verified signal distribution and display operation, calibrated the LED canvases and documented the system for support.

What key challenges were faced?

The main challenge was integrating numerous digital surfaces into an exceptionally ornate interior without making the technology appear added later. Reflective marble, gold frames, chandeliers, mirrors and velvet drapery meant that alignment errors, exposed cabling or uneven brightness would be immediately visible.

Each LED canvas was effectively a custom installation. Portrait, landscape and ribbon formats ranged from compact lounge screens to a 6.4 metre wide feature near an auditorium entrance. Every location had different niche dimensions, screen weight, power demand, heat output, viewing distance and service access. Tall lobby canvases also required precise structural alignment so they appeared as architectural features.

Content management added further complexity because stretched displays, portrait poster screens, and fine-pitch LED surfaces used different resolutions and aspect ratios. Trailers, movie artwork, promotions and wayfinding had to remain correctly formatted and synchronised.

Execution required close coordination with civil, interior, electrical, data and fabrication teams so display openings, steel supports, power points, network links and ventilation were correct before marble and decorative framing were closed.

How were those challenges resolved?

The integrated system gives AMB Cinemas a venue-wide communication and entertainment platform rather than a collection of isolated screens. Guests encounter changing cinematic content across large LED artworks, escalator features, digital poster galleries, concession displays and auditorium-entry ribbons, keeping the experience active while they move or wait.

For marketing and operations teams, centralised digital distribution reduces dependence on printed posters and manual replacement. Film artwork, trailers, event messaging, wayfinding, sponsor content and venue announcements can be refreshed across multiple areas, while content remains tailored to each display’s shape and purpose.

The installation also strengthens Kapali Theatre’s premium identity. Screens are embedded within the gold, marble and velvet interiors, allowing technology to enhance the architecture rather than compete with it.

Dedicated players, managed network switches, AV racks, documented cabling and front-serviceable mounts improve maintainability and provide a scalable platform for future campaigns without rebuilding the physical environment.

How has your work helped the client?

We helped AMB Cinemas by converting a complex, highly decorative venue into a reliable and serviceable digital infotainment environment. Each major display was treated as a purpose-built installation, with floor-by-floor layouts and fabrication drawings defining cabinet arrangements, niche sizes, support structures, power, heat loads, weights and service access.

Custom steel supports were designed around the LED cabinet geometry, with 25 mm service clearance retained before decorative framing. Portrait displays used push-pull mounts so maintenance could be carried out from the front without disturbing finished wall treatments.

The distributed system was built around an on-premise signage server, media players, HDMI links, managed network switches and AV racks, creating a common platform for different LED and LCD formats. Content could be prepared for each screen’s orientation and aspect ratio.

By coordinating supports, apertures, power, data, ventilation, installation, calibration and testing floor by floor, we delivered a visually integrated system that is easier to operate, maintain and update while protecting the client’s interior investment.

What are you most proud of about the project?

We are most proud that the technology feels like part of Kapali Theatre’s architecture and storytelling, not equipment added later. We translated many different screen formats into one coherent guest experience. Fine-pitch LED canvases became digital artworks within gold frames, a wide LED ribbon animated the approach to an auditorium, and stretched and portrait displays transformed counters and walls into flexible information surfaces.

Behind the visual simplicity was detailed engineering: custom steel structures, coordinated niches, defined service clearances, power and heat calculations, managed content distribution, front-serviceable mounts and floor-by-floor commissioning.

The strongest achievement is that guests do not need to understand the complexity. They simply experience a theatre that feels active and cinematic from the moment they enter. Kapali demonstrates how commercial AV can move beyond signage to become spatial infotainment, supporting operations and promotion while shaping anticipation, emotion and memory before the film begins.

War Heroes Memorial, Ambala, is a landmark national memorial dedicated to honouring the sacrifices of India’s unsung heroes from the First War of Independence in 1857. Designed as an immersive educational and cultural destination, the MUSEUM combines history with advanced digital technologies, interactive exhibits, and engaging storytelling.

The campus includes a 63-meter Lotus Tower, 22 themed museum galleries, an auditorium, an Open Air Theatre (OAT), and landscaped public spaces. Visitors experience holographic projections, augmented reality, projection mapping, large-format displays, and multimedia presentations that bring historical events to life.

We delivered end-to-end Audio Visual (AV) integration across the Auditorium, Museum, Open Air Theatre, and Landscape areas. The solution included professional audio systems, projection solutions, LED displays, AV-over-IP infrastructure, centralized control systems, PTZ cameras, digital podiums, networking, and content distribution platforms.

We designed and implemented the Collins Aerospace Technology Experience Centre in Bengaluru, creating a highly immersive environment that transforms complex aerospace innovations into engaging visitor experiences through experiential storytelling and advanced AV technologies.

Rather than relying on conventional displays, the Experience Centre combines Virtual Reality, immersive dome projection mapping, interactive multi-touch systems, holographic displays, digital signage, automated lighting and centralized content management to create a memorable journey for customers, partners and stakeholders.

At the heart of the centre are two signature experiences: a custom Virtual Reality flight simulation powered by Meta Quest headsets and an immersive dome projection environment utilizing six edge-blended 10,000-lumen laser projectors to create a seamless panoramic visual experience synchronized with audio and lighting. A custom RF-enabled interactive touch table allows visitors to explore aerospace innovations through physical object interaction, creating intuitive and engaging storytelling.

The facility is integrated with Crestron automation, QSC audio, Cisco networking and centralized content management for seamless one-touch control.

What did the client want to achieve?

Collins Aerospace wanted to create an immersive technology showcase capable of communicating its innovation, engineering excellence and future vision in a more engaging and memorable way.

The objective was to replace traditional presentations and static exhibits with interactive experiences that allow visitors to actively explore aerospace technologies through Virtual Reality, projection mapping, touch interaction and immersive storytelling. Project Overview

The Raigad Fort Son-et-Lumière Show is India’s first fully immersive 360° outdoor experience, spread across 250,000 sqm at an altitude of 1,400m. One of the world’s largest installations of its kind, it transforms the 400-year-old Raigad Fort (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) into a living stage. Developed for the Raigad Development Authority, the show uses almost all of the fort’s monuments, some up to 900m away, as integral storytelling elements, placing the the viewer right in the centre of the story.

A seamless blend of technology and creativity, the production combines precisely synchronized architectural lighting, immersive 10.2 surround sound, gobo projections, and powerful sky beam effects. The audio pans smoothly & seamlessly between the speakers, leading the viewer to turn his head and follow the sound. As the viewer orients himself, the sound imaging accurately matches the various structures which light up gradually with the story unfolding.

The experience is elevated by a rich soundtrack featuring an evocative narrator, dramatic voice performances, an original musical score, and realistic sound effects that bring every scene to life. Duration: 45min. Made in 3 languages – Marathi, English and Hindi.

What did the client want to achieve?

The primary objective was to immortalise the story of Raigad Fort and the role it played in Shivaji Maharaj’s life. The client also wanted as many structures as possible to be a part of the show, and the story told in a captivating way, without making it into a boring history lesson.

Though the initial Project Report planned for a standard 180 degrees viewing area, the client wanted to cover a much larger canvas and have more structures illuminated and used as part of the show.

The site chosen presented a remarkable opportunity and challenge. Perched 1,356 metres above sea level, with the final 820 metres rising almost vertically from the surrounding valleys, Raigad is accessible only by ropeway followed by a short trek. The spectator gallery is on a high rocky plateau. From this commanding vantage point, all its structures/monuments are visible, spread across the landscape in different directions.

The client wanted the show to cater to the common people – young and old, students, locals, and outstation tourists. And since Chhatrapati Shivaji was a well-known figure, that the historical facts be properly researched, 100% authentic and unquestionable.

• Authentic historical research – Shivaji Maharaj is a revered figure, and getting the history even slightly wrong could have led to disaster
• Size of the site – 250,000 sqm area meant a vast network of cables and power, signal and audio transmission over vast distances
• Location of the site – 1,356m high accessible only by ropeway or a 1-hour climb. Getting men & material up and down was tough.
• Very dark stone structures – difficult to light up
• Hard basalt rocky terrain – tough to install concealed cabling
• Extreme Weather conditions with high wind pressure, monsoons with heavy rains and lightning leading to transient power surges / EMPs
• Perfect frame-accurate sync of lighting and 10.2 sound without any time delays despite signal runs of upto 1km.
• Tough 360° sound imaging to match each structure. Plus high wind with high noise floor as it was the top of the mountain
• Making the technology INVISIBLE so that the viewer saw only the effect and not the machine which produces it
• Sourcing fully weatherproof equipment capable of handling the heavy rains in Raigad without breakdown

How were those challenges resolved?

Use of extensive high-speed fiber-optic backbone for the ArtNET/DMX signal distribution. Almost 15 km of power, signal & audio cable network

The Ethernet-to-Fiber-to-DMX network was meticulously engineered to maintain flawless synchronization across the entire system. Every component, protocol and signal path was optimized to minimize latency. This precision engineering guaranteed perfectly coordinated lighting cues and seamless integration throughout the show

The immersive 360-degree sound system was meticulously designed and engineered using compact, high-powered 60°×60° dispersion loudspeakers. Their precise placement and tuning enabled accurate sound imaging, seamless panning and fluid movement of audio, enveloping audiences in a rich, lifelike and captivating sonic experience

Over 350 light fixtures with high lumen output, all individually addressable and dynamically programmable. Extensive trials to select the right fixtures

Lightning spike arresters on signal & power lines used to protect the light fixtures

To prevent voltage differences, electrical surges, and data corruption from affecting the system, Galvanic Isolation in the form of Optical DMX Splitters was implemented across the network with a common DMX ground

How has your work helped the client?

The chairman of the Raigad Development Authority, Shri Sambhaji Raje Chhatrapati is well educated and well-travelled person. He has seen many shows across the world and is sensitive about respecting the beauty of a monument through sober lighting. He totally loved the show and found it to be much beyond his expectations (which were pretty high).

The show has also perfectly served its defined objective of bringing the immortal story of Raigad Fort and its association with Shivaji Maharaj to life. The show uses almost all the structures at the site innovatively. The scale and size is clear, and for some structures you get a toppish viewpoint.

For the public, this show will educate, entertain, inspire and motivate them. Everyone who has seen the show has praised it, even those who have seen it several times. Delegations from various organisations and schools are sent regularly to witness this show.

For the future, we will be looking after the operations and maintenance of the show for 3 years to ensure it runs perfectly.

What are you most proud of about the project?

We are happy we did justice to the site and the story. We were able to use the full site & even the trees. We feel the show touches the people’s heart and brings the glory of Shivaji to life.

Our biggest challenge was the immersive 360° audiovisual experience, with sound moving seamlessly around the audience to enhance the storytelling. The sound imaging had to perfectly match the structures and lighting for everyone in the audience. Achieving this required an audio system with exceptional fidelity, dynamic range, and reliability, capable of reproducing every nuance of the soundtrack while operating flawlessly in one of the harshest installation environments. With the high wind noise, calibrating, time aligning & balancing the system was not easy.

This installation stands as a testament to meticulous engineering, careful system design, and uncompromising execution. Despite the formidable challenges posed by the site’s terrain and climate, the project has delivered a spectacular, enduring audiovisual experience that captivates audiences night after night.

We were entrusted with the conceptualization, design, supply, installation, operation, maintenance, and dismantling of the temporary thematic illumination for Ekta Prakash Parv 2025 at the Statue of Unity, Ekta Nagar, Gujarat, organized to commemorate Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (Unity Day 2025).

The project transformed key public areas into a vibrant and immersive illuminated experience through artistic lighting installations inspired by the spirit of national unity and cultural heritage. The scope included decorative road ceiling illumination, illuminated tunnel structures, thematic fabricated installations, roadside illuminated props, and synchronized architectural lighting that enhanced the visitor journey across the event venue.

The project gained widespread appreciation from visitors and dignitaries. During the celebrations, Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, along with several Union Ministers, State Ministers, senior government officials, and other VVIP and VIP delegates from across India, visited the venue and experienced the illuminated landscape, making the project one of the most prestigious temporary lighting installations executed by Montu Electric Works.

What did the client want to achieve?

The client envisioned creating an iconic and memorable illuminated environment for Ekta Prakash Parv 2025 that reflected the ideals of national unity while enhancing the visitor experience at the Statue of Unity during Rashtriya Ekta Diwas.

The objective was to transform the event venue into a visually captivating destination through innovative temporary illumination, encouraging public engagement, tourism, and national pride. The lighting was expected to complement the grandeur of the Statue of Unity while providing an immersive experience for thousands of visitors arriving from across India.

The client also required a solution that could be executed within a strict timeline, operate reliably throughout the event, comply with all electrical and public safety standards, and withstand continuous outdoor operation. Since the event was attended by the Hon’ble Prime Minister, senior government officials, VVIPs, VIPs, and a large number of visitors, flawless execution, operational reliability, and aesthetic excellence were key expectations.

We were responsible for the complete execution of the temporary thematic illumination project on a turnkey basis.

Our scope included concept development, lighting design, engineering, fabrication of decorative structures, procurement of lighting equipment, electrical infrastructure, installation, testing, commissioning, operation during the event period, maintenance, technical support, and complete dismantling after the event.

The project featured illuminated road ceiling installations, decorative lighting tunnels created using fabricated structural frames, themed roadside illuminated props, artistic lighting elements, power distribution systems, cabling, control panels, and integrated lighting arrangements across designated visitor routes.

The team ensured seamless coordination with the client, local authorities, security agencies, and event management teams to execute the project without disrupting public movement. All installations were designed for structural stability, electrical safety, weather resistance, and ease of maintenance.

The project was delivered within the stipulated timeline while maintaining high-quality workmanship, operational reliability, and an exceptional visual experience throughout the celebration.

What key challenges were faced?

The project involved several technical and operational challenges.

The primary challenge was executing a large-scale temporary illumination project within a limited execution period while ensuring zero compromise on quality and safety. Since the venue receives a significant number of tourists daily, installation activities had to be carefully planned to minimize disruption to visitor movement.

Another major challenge was coordinating multiple work fronts simultaneously, including fabrication, transportation, installation, electrical distribution, and testing. The installations also had to withstand continuous outdoor exposure, varying weather conditions, and long operational hours.

As the event was attended by the Hon’ble Prime Minister, senior government officials, and numerous VVIPs and VIPs, every installation had to meet stringent safety, operational, and aesthetic standards. There was no margin for technical failure or delays.

Managing logistics, ensuring uninterrupted power supply, maintaining synchronization among various illuminated elements, and completing all works before the inauguration required meticulous planning and continuous coordination between engineering, fabrication, logistics, and site execution teams.

How were those challenges resolved?

We addressed these challenges through detailed planning, experienced project management, and round-the-clock execution.

A dedicated project team prepared detailed execution schedules, material planning, and installation sequences well in advance. Fabrication and procurement activities were carried out in parallel to reduce overall project duration. Multiple installation teams worked simultaneously across different locations to ensure timely completion.

Comprehensive quality inspections and electrical safety checks were conducted at every stage of installation. Robust structural supports, weather-resistant materials, and reliable LED lighting systems were used to ensure uninterrupted operation throughout the event.

The project team maintained close coordination with the client, local administration, security agencies, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth site access and timely approvals. Continuous monitoring during the event enabled immediate response to any operational requirements.

Through disciplined execution, proactive coordination, and technical expertise, the project was completed successfully before schedule and operated flawlessly throughout the celebration, receiving appreciation from visitors and dignitaries alike.

Rashtra Prerna Sthal is a landmark national memorial, museum, and public destination developed by the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The project celebrates the legacy of three of India’s foremost nation-builders—Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, and Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

More than a memorial, it is an inspiring civic space where history and leadership come alive through architecture, landscape design, storytelling, and advanced museum technologies. Built on land once barren and covered with landfills, the project transforms the site into a vibrant public realm featuring monumental bronze statues, landscaped gardens, meditation areas, public plazas, ceremonial spaces, and a state-of-the-art museum.

Within the museum, visitors experience immersive galleries, interactive installations, projection mapping, holographic storytelling, and digital archives presenting the lives and contributions of the three leaders within India’s nation-building journey.

What did the client want to achieve?

The Lucknow Development Authority envisioned Rashtra Prerna Sthal as a world-class national destination that would preserve and celebrate the legacy of Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, and Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The objective was to create more than a memorial—it was to develop an inspiring public space that combines a state-of-the-art museum, monumental architecture, landscaped public realms, and large-scale event spaces. By integrating immersive storytelling with advanced technologies, the project aims to educate visitors, strengthen civic pride, and communicate the ideals of leadership, service, national unity, and democratic values. The transformation of a neglected site into a vibrant cultural landmark also reflects the client’s vision of sustainable urban regeneration, creating a destination that inspires present and future generations while enriching the cultural identity of Lucknow and the nation.

Scope of work your company was involved in

Our company was entrusted with the design, development, execution, and operation of Rashtra Prerna Sthal’s museum and visitor experience. Scope included civil and interior works, electrical infrastructure, furniture, display fixtures, and specialized museum fit-outs. We developed museum galleries with thematic stone murals, interactive exhibits, research-driven narratives, artwork, and immersive interpretation systems bringing history to life.

The project involved supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of advanced AV and multimedia technologies, including 3D and 270° immersive projection mapping, holographic displays, LED screens, video walls, digital signage, directional audio, DMX-controlled lighting, and integrated control systems. Our team also produced approximately 90 minutes of original 2D and 3D AV content based on approved scripts.

Beyond the museum interiors, we delivered a permanent outdoor projection mapping show, a professional audio system for the Open Air Theatre, stage lighting with DMX controls, and electrical infrastructure including UPS systems, panels, and cabling. Scope also includes O&M of the museum and its systems for three years, ensuring seamless performance and visitor experience.

What key challenges were faced?

Rashtra Prerna Sthal presented complex challenges given its multidisciplinary nature and scale. A key challenge was integrating civil construction, architecture, interior design, landscape development, museum planning, and AV technologies into a seamless experience—requiring close coordination between engineers, architects, content developers, artists, sculptors, and technology teams so every element functioned as one storytelling environment.

Developing historically accurate content was equally demanding. Extensive research went into authentically representing the lives and philosophies of Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, and Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, translating these into immersive exhibitions, projection mapping, holograms, and multimedia presentations.

Installing and synchronizing large-scale technologies—270° projection, holographic displays, interactive exhibits, DMX lighting, directional audio, and integrated controls—required meticulous planning, testing, and commissioning.

Finally, ensuring a cohesive visitor journey across galleries, outdoor projections, and public spaces demanded careful spatial planning, balancing historical authenticity, technological innovation, and operational sustainability.

How were those challenges resolved?

Rashtra Prerna Sthal was delivered through meticulous planning, close interdisciplinary collaboration, and phased execution. Architects, engineers, museum planners, exhibition designers, historians, artists, technology specialists, and project managers worked as one team, ensuring every design and construction decision supported the project’s vision.

Extensive historical research and content review cycles ensured every gallery accurately reflected the lives and philosophies of Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, and Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Visualization tools and prototype installations validated exhibition concepts before execution.

To integrate complex AV and immersive technologies, close coordination was maintained between civil, electrical, and technology teams throughout construction. Careful planning of infrastructure, cabling, lighting, acoustics, and installation ensured seamless integration without compromising architectural character. Rigorous testing and commissioning of projection mapping, holographic systems, and multimedia installations guaranteed reliable performance.

Finally, quality control, systematic monitoring, and a dedicated O&M plan ensure the museum continues delivering a world-class experience for years to come.
