Utkarsh Small Finance Bank Limited (USFBL) is engaged in providing banking and financial services with a focus on providing microfinance to the underserved and unserved sections of the country.
The Bank extends microfinance loans based on Joint Liability Group (JLG) model to individuals, other retail asset loans including Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) Loans, Housing Loans (HL), Personal Loans, Commercial Vehicle Loans, Construction Equipment Loans and Wholesale Lending to borrowers.
To be a technology enabled institution, Utkarsh Bank wanted to upgrade their corporate office with Audio Visual Systems & Lighting Automation system to have a sustainable & scalable technology ready office for future.

They were looking for a turnkey technology system integrator like Vallect, who understands Audio Visual systems & lighting control and enable installation which would help them to use their spaces efficiently & improve their operational efficiency.

Scope of work your company was involved in
We have installed a BGM (Background Music system) system.. Speaker is ceiling-mounted and installed with blind-mount backcan.
We have deployed an audio visual system for the meeting rooms and also provisioned a Video conferencing system for future business needs. The Videoconferencing system solution is designed to be integrated into larger meeting rooms, training rooms, classrooms, and other workspaces that have more complex requirements for 2nd, 4th, 5th , 6th & 7th floors.
In the audio solutions, we have offered a Lapel Mic set included with transmitter and receiver used for theatre, public speaking applications and in auditoriums to allow hands-free operation.
In the cafeteria we have scoped & installed ceiling speakers, projector and projector screen for the purpose of celebrating internal events.
What key challenges were faced?
The key challenge in the project was to deliver the system in an very tight deadline.
How were those challenges resolved?
The Challenge was resolved by constant collaboration with their internal team alongwith design team & keeping tight check on the project timelines with relentless commitment by the projects team to ensure timely delivery.
How has your work helped the client?
As this would be the headquarters, with the Video conferencing system the team can collaborate & communicate in an efficient manner without the challenge of connecting remotely. This further enhances productivity and increases workforce engagement.
Meeting rooms are now enabled with meeting room solutions like meeting schedulers, room booking facility etc,. which optimises the utilisation and occupancy of meeting rooms.
With video wall, they are conducting their PR activities & cultural events creating an immersive experience.
With Lighting Control in place along with sensors installed , they were able to control & optimise their lighting. This has resulted in energy saving & operational efficiency.
