Nothing amuses or creates a great frenzy as much as the Dinosaurs do. They have been the hot topic of discussions, research and studies across ages, and even rule the world of fantasy. It is a matter of great pride for the people of Gujarat that the land too has its own share of history associated with these magnificent beasts. Raioli, near Balasinor, serves as the national treasure for being the world’s largest dinosaur hatchery and fossil park. Discovered in 1981 by the Geological Survey of India, the site is internationally acclaimed for hosting Late Cretaceous graveyards and hatcheries of two dinosaurs’ groups – abelisauridtheropods and titanosauiridsauropods in one locality! And now, the site is also distinguished for having the first-ever field dinosaur museum in the country. With its 16 immersive galleries, this state-of-the-art Balasinor Dinosaur Museum spread across 22,135 sq.ft welcomes you to the untold Dinosaur fables. Relive the Mesozoic Era through its interactive exhibitions and dig into some of the most intriguing facts related to fossils and Palaeontology, at the same time. Explore the World of Dinosaurs to bring out the kid in yourself at the Balasinor Dinosaur Museum.
What did the client want to achieve?
The client wanted a museum that would complement the Dinosaur Fossil Park. A museum that will cater and answer queries related to Dinosaurs to every visitor coming to the Dinosaur Fossil park.
Scope of work your company was involved in
Design and Execution of the Museum building 22,135 sq. ft. including Architectural, Structural design, Civil works, MEP and amenities. Curation and development of the Museum includes the following:

What key challenges were faced?
• We went thru almost 18 to 20 months of peak covid pandemic during the initial development phase of the project.
• Making scaled down models of Dinosaurs with precise detailed anatomy was a challenge which we addressed successfully.
• Every content showcased was done in 3d animation from scratch which was a time consuming and arduous.
How were those challenges resolved?
• We worked under the guidance of Palaeontologist to ensure the right content and anatomy details
