BUDGET: 10 crore INR and above (USD1.48 million and above)

Project Overview
The Amdocs Pune Auditorium stands as a benchmark in corporate AV transformation, combining the precision of a professional broadcast studio with the energy of a high-impact performance venue.
At the heart of the space is a massive 9.6-metre Samsung Active LED wall with 6400 x 1800 resolution, powered by an Extron Quantum Ultra II processor capable of managing 64 simultaneous windows. A software-defined AV-over-IP backbone with integrated redundancy ensures mission-critical reliability, enabling seamless global town halls with minimal risk of downtime.
The audio architecture is built for broadcast-grade clarity, using a Dante-based signal chain anchored by Q-SYS Core 110f and Allen & Heath SQ-5. The d&b audiotechnik system, with cardioid subwoofers, delivers powerful audience coverage while maintaining stage silence for feedback-free microphone performance.
Operational complexity is simplified through one-touch control using Crestron UC-CX-100T and interactive podium panels for native Microsoft Teams sessions.
From the custom-ventilated display niche to concealed floor raceways, every detail reflects technical precision, architectural sensitivity, and future-ready design — establishing a new regional benchmark for enterprise auditoriums.
What did the client want to achieve?
AMDOCS envisioned its Pune auditorium as more than a corporate event space — it needed to become the digital heartbeat of its operations, seamlessly transforming between a Microsoft Teams broadcast studio, global town hall venue, and immersive live performance space.
The mandate was to deliver broadcast-grade clarity through a multi-camera setup that could capture different auditorium zones and engage remote participants with professional visual quality.
Acoustic versatility was critical. The space required precise speech intelligibility for conferencing, along with rich, high-impact sound for live bands, musical instruments, and cultural performances.
Operational simplicity was equally important. Centralised one-touch control enabled instant global broadcasts, while a performance-ready stage allowed guest artists to connect instruments such as guitars and drum kits without technical friction.
With uniform audio-visual coverage, clear sightlines, and a consistent experience for every participant, the auditorium became a future-ready environment that bridges physical and digital audiences — setting a new regional benchmark for enterprise auditoriums.
Scope of work your company was involved in
We served as the end-to-end technology consultant and turnkey integrator for the AMDOCS Pune Auditorium, transforming a high-stakes vision into a resilient, high-performance corporate AV environment.
Our scope covered the complete project lifecycle — from architectural coordination, technical design, and structural planning to deployment, commissioning, and operational training.
A key part of the solution was a high-density AV-over-IP architecture, creating a software-defined distribution backbone that delivers scalability, flexibility, remote manageability, and broadcast-grade signal quality across multiple usage scenarios.
We also engineered the structural framework to flush-mount the massive visual centrepiece, supported by custom reinforcement and thermal management to ensure hardware reliability without affecting room acoustics.
Concealed floor raceways were integrated to maintain a clean, cable-free aesthetic, while a unified control layer simplified complex operations into an intuitive user experience.
With advanced failover protocols and future-ready design, the auditorium now stands as a zero-downtime, multipurpose asset for global corporate communication.
What key challenges were faced?
The Amdocs Pune Auditorium demanded exceptional engineering precision to balance architectural elegance with broadcast-grade performance.
A major challenge was integrating the 9.6-metre Samsung Active LED wall as a flush-mounted centrepiece. We engineered a custom 19mm wooden support system to safely anchor the 600kg display within a specialised niche, ensuring both structural integrity and a seamless visual finish.
To protect the high-resolution display from thermal stress within the confined niche, we designed a precision ventilation strategy with 50mm exhaust holes placed at 120mm intervals. This enables continuous heat dissipation, supporting long-duration operations without disturbing the auditorium’s acoustic silence.
The project also solved a critical acoustic challenge: delivering dry speech clarity for Microsoft Teams broadcasts while retaining rich, immersive sound for live performances. Cardioid subwoofers helped direct energy towards the audience while maintaining stage silence for feedback-free microphone pickup.
Concealed 300x40mm and 100x40mm floor raceways ensured high-density power and data connectivity while keeping the space clean, elegant, and cable-free.
How were those challenges resolved?
The Amdocs Pune Auditorium required engineering solutions that could balance architectural elegance with mission-critical AV performance.
To support the 600kg Samsung LED wall, we engineered a specialised 19mm wooden support system within a custom-built niche. Heat dissipation was addressed through a precision ventilation strategy, with 50mm exhaust holes placed every 120mm at the top of the cavity, enabling continuous hot-air release for 24/7 operations without disturbing the room’s acoustic silence.
The acoustic challenge was solved using d&b audiotechnik Vi-GSUB cardioid subwoofers, directing low-frequency energy towards the audience while keeping the stage quiet for feedback-free microphone pickup during global broadcasts. A Dante-enabled signal chain, Q-SYS Core 110f, and 16 AEC processors ensured exceptional speech clarity for conferencing.
To preserve the auditorium’s premium finish, 300x40mm and 100x40mm concealed floor raceways were used to hide the high-density digital backbone.
Together, these solutions made the technology powerful yet invisible, creating a sustainable, future-ready auditorium that sets a new regional benchmark for enterprise performance spaces.
How has your work helped the client?
Our integration transformed the Amdocs Pune Auditorium from a standard meeting space into a high-performance corporate asset built for local engagement and global collaboration.
The venue now shifts seamlessly between executive town halls, Microsoft Teams broadcasts, and immersive live performances with studio-grade quality. A multi-camera setup with 16-view monitoring delivers professional broadcast feeds for remote participants, ensuring they stay as engaged as those in the room.
The 9.6-metre LED canvas adds exceptional visual flexibility, supporting up to 64 video windows for complex, data-rich presentations. Operational complexity has been simplified through “One-Touch Mastery”, enabling non-technical users to launch broadcasts, control lighting, and route signals through an intuitive 21.5” Crestron interface.
Powered by a resilient AV-over-IP backbone and unique hot-swap logic, the system protects mission-critical events from hardware failure. The result is a future-ready auditorium that elevates Amdocs’ brand presence and delivers every message with clarity, confidence, and reliability.
What are you most proud of about the project?
We are most proud of transforming deep technical complexity into effortless operational simplicity. For the 9.6-metre Samsung LED wall, we did more than install a display — we engineered a bespoke 19mm wooden support structure and precision thermal ventilation system to house the 600kg visual engine with safety, stability, and architectural elegance.
The AV-over-IP backbone adds mission-critical resilience through unique hot-swap redundancy, allowing decoders to instantly reassign as encoders and support zero-downtime global broadcasts. The cardioid acoustic design further elevates the experience by directing powerful sound towards the audience while maintaining the stage silence needed for feedback-free, studio-grade microphone pickup.
Most importantly, the entire ecosystem comes together through one-touch control, enabling users to launch a global, 64-window town hall with ease. The result is not just an auditorium, but a sustainable, resilient, and future-ready business asset that sets a new regional benchmark for corporate AV environments.
